We had a great few days at Donna’s home. Everything you need is there. It is clean, comfortable and spacious. Located just a few minutes walk away from the beach, shops & bars it’s perfect for a short break. 😎

Great cottage in beautiful surroundings with a well equipped kitchen a cosy living area and comfortable beds. The outside area was stunning with views across to Rathlin Island in one direction and Fairhead and the Mull of Kintyre on the other...spectacular! Peter was a great responsive host with recommendations for eating places etc. We will definitely return to. Rathlin View Cottage and would recommend it to anyone planning a visit to the North Coast.

We had a wonderful couple of days staying at Gartartan. It was the perfect location, being only an approximate 20 minute walk from Port Ellen, which also makes it accessible if you fancy visiting the south coast distilleries such as Ardbeg, Lagvulin, Laphoraig, Port Ellen, Islay Rum and the upcoming Portintruan. The house is beautifully decorated with lovely little nods to the island and was very clean and tidy. Our hosts were also great at answering any questions we had both before and during the stay. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation when coming back to the island in the future!

We booked this house for a joint 70th birthday present to our parents and stayed with people aged between 1-70. It met all our needs well and the house is lovely and warm with good bathrooms, spacious kitchen and wonderful outdoor space.

We loved staying in The Wee House. It was perfect - very clean and fresh, cosy, comfortable, warm and what a pretty outlook over the bay! It had everything you need- in fact a home from home. Lovely garden too. We could have happily stayed there for longer. Highly recommend this sweet house to anyone going to Islay. Port Ellen is a great base to explore the island and it also has lovely places to eat out. We had dinner in the SeaSalt Bistro and it was delicious and the staff were great. The sun was shining the whole time we were there-May-so we got to appreciate the picturesque setting at maximum! Thank you Janice for your quick responses to our booking. So glad we managed to get a stay at the Wee House as it is very popular.

We had a lovely stay at this well-appointed house in Ballycastle. Some lovely touches including coffee beans and snacks. Beds were very comfortable and Louise could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Thank you so much!

The place was perfectly located for our needs. It has plenty of amenities and good restaurants close by. You can be on the sea front in 2 minutes. The flat in itself is very neat and comfy. The host is lovely and avenant.

Simon's place is perfect if you need a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The apartment is spacious with comfortable bedding, making it a great place to relax. I stayed there over the Easter break with my two cats, who loved watching the view of the loch. You won’t even look on TV — the scenery outside the window, with seals, dolphins, and beautiful surroundings, is captivating. There are also plenty of great hiking spots nearby. Simon is a very kind and welcoming host.

Great apartment with a lovely outside space and good views. Tastefully decorated. Perfect for our long weekend. Lots of pre-arrival information and clear instructions for arrival. Katrina was a great host, friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Would happily stay again

excellent ground floor flat, with spacious interior and gardens. It's a well resourced comfortable space. There's excellent public transport, easy to access, and supermarket and necessary shops nearby. We hired electric bikes from R.T Cycles near the train station, and enjoyed the amazing area more fully. Some lovely cafes, people and places were encountered.

Anna provided very clear instructions and the home was so easy to find. Really nice and cozy, everything was clean and the shower was great. Anna also very kindly provided tea, coffee, sugar, shower gel etc., really appreciate the little details. Would recommend to all. Also, please remember do not park your cars on the pavement, this is not England. We got a fine but we got over it pretty quickly aha.

we stayed for one night and really enjoyed our stay. beautiful views and everything you need for a short stay. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and even went the extra mile for us having dropped us to a restaurant we had booked that even. It was a greatly appreciated. all in all class spot no complaints and would return again.

Wir waren für 2 Nächte hier. Als wir die Wohnung betraten, haben wir uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und es war blitzeblank sauber. Jackie ist unglaublich nett und sehr zuvorkommend, reagiert schnell auf Fragen. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall mit sehr gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Lovely place to stay. Chrissie gave very helpful instructions to find the accommodation as well as some good recommendations. Everything was as described and had everything needed for a quiet stay. Good fishing places nearby. Local cafe was great too. Chrissie was very friendly

Lovely little flat in a beautiful location. I needed to catch up on a few days of work and this was the perfect place. Clean, wonderfully decorated and quiet. Communication was prompt and very helpful. Great little place!

A excellent location within walking distance to tgedentre of Dunoon. Great views from the lounge as well. Very well equipped which made for a very comfortable stay. Patricia replied to every query virtually immediately, even though she was away. Definitely a good airbnb location.

Absolutely idyllic spot, the view from the property was incredible. So peaceful and plenty of things to do within easy driving distance. We visited Loch Lomond, Inveraray, falls of falloch. All worth a visit and plenty of beautiful scenery and walks. The local pubs and restaurants were great too. Good for a drink in the beer garden was The Village Inn and the absolute best food, especially the muscles at Cu Mara bistro.

Absolute 10/10 hosts, could not be more helpful and friendly. Cannot fault the beautiful Woodside tower. We had a fabulous time relaxing and rewinding, will absolutely be back.

Fantastic place to stay on Bute with a group of friends. Nice space to relax at the back of the property also. Will hopefully book again.

Lovely place for a couple. Made to feel welcome from the outset, especially as there was a welcome card and Scottish tablet and shortbread out for us on arrival! Contact from Vincent was quick, friendly and efficient. He went out of his way to get everything ready for us and the Old Post Office was just perfect. It had everything we needed and more, including a handy guide to facilitaties in the area. The location is lovely - right on the loch with the sun setting over the hills. There are some amazing examples of wealthy Victorian Glasgow merchants' houses along the shoreline- well worth a walk around to see. The local pub at Kilcreggan is very friendly and does good food and for more choice Hellensburgh is a pleasant 25 min drive and the shores of Loch Lomond are just a bit further - so 3 lochs all within easy access. All in all, we would highly recommend the Old Post Office and hosts.

Moya & Franco are very warm & friendly people & went to great lengths to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The place was well kept & had everything we needed. The location & views on the loch are just amazing & this area was perfect base for exploring
