We had an amazing stay at Amit's place! The property was neat and clean, with a breathtaking hill view that made our mornings special. It was much quieter compared to Nainital, allowing us to truly relax in the clean air and enjoy the awesome climate. The heater and geyser facilities were a great addition, and my wife was able to work without any internet issues—she had a full day of uninterrupted productivity! We were grateful for the ample cooking utensils, especially since we traveled with an infant. A thoughtful gesture was the bread, butter, and milk provided in advance, which made our arrival even smoother. Just a note: remember to bring your own toiletries like soap, shampoo, and toothpaste. Overall, we loved our stay and created wonderful memories with our family. Highly recommend!

STUNNING. The pictures here doesnt do justice to the beauty this place offers. The cottage is lavishly beautiful and the view from this place is beautiful beyond words. If you love mountains then this is the place. Peaceful, away from chaos, easy to reach and best views. the caretaker is very friendly and helpful and makes delicious food so thats a plus point.

We booked this stay for 2 nights and had a great time. Situated between Bhimtal & Naukuchiatal, this stay offers mesmerizing views of the valleys and the lakes. Thanks to the caretaker Lalit, we felt right at home. The place was exactly like the pictures, the cottage was spotless and squeaky clean when we arrived. Best part is that they have a restaurant and offer a variety of veg & non-veg options. We wouldn't hesitate from recommending this to our friends and family.

Firstly, the property has simply the best view of Bhimtal Lake. It's a beautiful place where you can spend time with your loved ones. The rooms also are facing the lake . The host is very helpful and friendly. It felt like home. As I am a local here I visit different properties but the Pencil House is one of the best property that I have been to in Bhimtal. Definately would recommend people to experience the beauty of this property but would also request the visitors to keep the place clean. Thank you Chitra Ji for the lovely stay ❤️

wonderful place to stay close to nature with all the facilities, the entire house is very spacious with well equipped kitchen. Good stay to relax your mind from the busy city life.

The property was just as expected. Everything was very clean and the staff were very helpful. The food prepared by the staff was also amazing. Would recommend it to everyone.

It's a great property. The location is ideal and peaceful. The rooms were clean. The staff was really polite. Kushagra and Pradeep were really helpful and there to assist us at every moment. Loved each and every moment of our stay.

Staying at Sojourn with Nyoli was pure magic. Tucked away in the hills, it’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and breathe a little deeper. The approach was a bit tricky, but the hosts were so proactive and supportive — they guided me through every step, which made arriving feel like being welcomed home. I stayed here with my three dogs — and they were in heaven! The property is genuinely pet-friendly, with plenty of space to roam around, play and explore. We all felt so at ease! One of my favorite parts of the stay was learning that Nyoli means birdsong in Kumaoni — and it’s so fitting. The property was alive with the sound of birds, from morning till evening. The staff were incredible — kind, attentive, and full of stories. The Kumaoni food was a highlight: simple, flavorful, and made with so much love. Every meal felt like it belonged exactly where we were.
