Peter’s home is a lovely haven by the beach and a 5 minute walk to the restaurants and pubs in Sandgate. Loved having coffee on the balcony in the mornings. Great showers, very comfortable beds. Kitchen well stocked. Loved staying in a real home as opposed to a sterile holiday let. Would absolutely recommend and return if staying back in the area.

Great place to stay out of the hustle & bustle of Whitstable but a gorgeous walk in along the beach / coast walk - flat and easy for all. Really enjoyed staying in this area - lovely houses and beach feels very private. Plus the house is 3 houses down from the sea and upstairs bedrooms have great seaview. Very sociable space - 4 couples stayed and we had so much room to cook, eat & sit and the garden is a bonus.

We had a lovely stay at Ian’s beautiful sea cottage! Ian proactively reached out to say hello and had his dad at the place when we were there as he was out of town. Ian’s dad Ted was the sweetest and out toddler totally loved him, “Ted” being the best part of the holiday home as she put it :). Ted had kindly kept a bucket and spade for our daughter, we had an amazing stay exploring the beach, collecting loads of shells and just slowing down. Margate beach is really close, just 15mins drive away & Canterbury is 30mins drive away. We visited both places. Thanks for your hospitality Ted & Ian xx

Mandy’s Airbnb was fantastic! The place was spotless and the jacuzzi in there was a really nice addition. Mandy also placed some snacks in the Airbnb which was a nice touch. The location was perfect - only a 10 minute walk into town where all the sites and oyster bars were. If you’re looking for a reliable, cozy spot to recharge in Whitstable, this is it. I’d highly recommend!

It was an incredible place with everything you need. We celebrated a 40th birthday and had a great time. The spa was definitely a highlight

Very cozy and clean home located just 5 min walk away from the beautiful sandy beach and cliffs. Highly recommended for small family who enjoys staying in a beach house like us.

We stayed at Paula and Andrew's place for a long weekend with 2 families, including children. Had a wonderful time and made a lot of memories. The house is remarkable for the architecture and the taste with which it is furnished! One felt like a welcome personal guest. The surrounding is amazing if you like a walk to a stunning beach or the nearby town. Would go back anytime!

Nothing was too much trouble for our host. Everything was clean and tidy, and she made us feel very welcome. And what breakfasts! — it was very satisfying to stay at an Airbnb venue where the “…nb” part was so generously provided. Thank you Penny!

Romy's place is the perfect getaway for anyone who likes walking, beaches, country pubs or a bit of peace and quiet in a beautiful setting. The place had everything we needed and a private secure garden, which was great for our dog. Romy was really kind, friendly and helpful with local tips.

Mary was really helpful and welcoming on arrival and the cottage was pristine inside and out and in a wonderful country setting. The instruction booklet was clear and covered everything I needed. I’d definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful property Daweswood is! It’s stunning and had everything we needed for our weekend. Allister was lovely, he always responded quickly to my (many) questions in advance of our stay and on the check in day provided so much information and very clear instructions that made it all go smoothly. He even checked in with us after our first night which was lovely. I couldn’t recommend Daweswood and Allister as a host enough, I will absolutely be recommending him, and really hope to stay again.
