Wir haben eine Woche in der Unterkunft verbracht und uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und die Küche gut ausgestattet, um selbst zu kochen. Von Kawazu aus kann man die Pazifikküste und die umliegenden Orte gut erkunden, besonders die Natur ist im Frühling wunderbar. Momoko und James haben auf alle unsere Fragen zuverlässig, schnell und ausführlich geantwortet. Die Gegend um das Haus ist wirklich sehr ruhig, es fährt kaum mal ein Auto vorbei. Das einzige, was mit der Lage im Wald einhergeht sind ziemlich große Spinnen, die Abends herauskommen, von daher sollte man sich dessen bewusst sein, wenn man eine Spinnenphobie hat.

4世代、10名と犬1匹で一泊お世話になりました！高齢者の両親、3歳の幼児もおりましたが、全員が楽しめました。アイランドキッチンなので、総動員でワイワイ食事の支度ができたのも良い思い出です。とても広い空間なので寒くないか心配でしたが、エアコンだけではなく、暖炉がとても暖かく、夜中までお喋りを楽しみました！1日目は雪の中、険しい山道を突き進んでゆくのはとても怖かったですが、翌日は素晴らしいお天気に恵まれ清々しい朝を迎えられました。お風呂もテラスも風情があってGOODです！家族でもご友人でもプライベートの空間が確保できますので、楽しめると思われます♪ ぜひ、リピートしたいです。

This is one of my favourite Airbnbs ever. It is a beautiful old house that has been thoughtfully modernised and decorated. We loved staying in this house surrounded by the countryside but with nearby delicious local restaurants. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

We enjoyed our stay soooo much! This house is absolutely wonderful — spacious, new, and just 5 minutes walking to the beach. It’s very unique, cozy, and authentic — we fell in love with every room, every corner. Everything is thoughtfully designed, with so much attention to detail. It’s also just 5 minutes by bike to the supermarket, which was super convenient. The hosts are a lovely, responsive family who clearly put their heart and care into every part of the home. We felt truly welcomed and comfortable here

One of my favorite stays so far on my journey in japan!! Mai and sakis hospitality was so generous. The two bikes they let us use really helped us explore the city of shimoda and soak in the culture. Perfect little home with everything we needed, the washer and the heated rug was an amazing amenity to our stay. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a little touch of love on their trip ^u^

These hosts are hands down the nicest, most accommodating people I've ever experienced with air bnb, and we travel a lot. We traveled to the house without a car.. Miki greeted us close to the bus stop with coffee and not only offered a ride up to the property.. but also to the grocery store to pick up nessecities for our stay. They also gave us bikes to get around town. The house itself is a beautiful traditional japanese home. Only thing I will say, it has some bugs. This is expected given its location, just something to keep in mind if you are not comfortable with that. Overall we had a great stay! Thank you both so much for hosting us!

We spent just one night in Asami's house, but we found everything, like it was described in the Airbnb offer. Asami - san was friendly and helpful in our conversations. Check-inn was easy going. We can recommend thus location, but you would need a car. Because of Golden week holidays, Restaurants were closed. But there is a 7-Eleven and a Damily Mart store in the village. Thank you Asami - san, we felt very confortable in your home.
