A few nights stay whilst working at one of the Distilleries. Was exactly what we needed - a comfortable stay and not too far to travel each day either. Thanks again Claire :)

We had a wonderful couple of days staying at Gartartan. It was the perfect location, being only an approximate 20 minute walk from Port Ellen, which also makes it accessible if you fancy visiting the south coast distilleries such as Ardbeg, Lagvulin, Laphoraig, Port Ellen, Islay Rum and the upcoming Portintruan. The house is beautifully decorated with lovely little nods to the island and was very clean and tidy. Our hosts were also great at answering any questions we had both before and during the stay. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation when coming back to the island in the future!

The home and location were better than the already beautiful photographs. Jura is outstanding and Nicky's home was beyond expectations.

we had fantastic time at Kintour School House loved the place from top to bottom the house and gardens were better than we could have imagined the open country side with all of the farm and wild animals around us all in all a great place and would thoroughly recommend the property peter April 27 2025

This is the third time my sister and I have stayed here...that says it all. We will be back.

We had a lovely stay in Tina’s place. A lot of space in the house which was good for the children. There were toys provided too which helped. The house has a walled garden too for people who need this. The outside space overlooking the pier is not the most beautiful place in the island but it is what it is not Tina’s fault. However, the views from inside the property are breathtaking. Minor issues: some furniture are getting dated, there is no WC upstairs, electric showers. Overall I recommend this place for families and groups of friends

We loved staying in The Wee House. It was perfect - very clean and fresh, cosy, comfortable, warm and what a pretty outlook over the bay! It had everything you need- in fact a home from home. Lovely garden too. We could have happily stayed there for longer. Highly recommend this sweet house to anyone going to Islay. Port Ellen is a great base to explore the island and it also has lovely places to eat out. We had dinner in the SeaSalt Bistro and it was delicious and the staff were great. The sun was shining the whole time we were there-May-so we got to appreciate the picturesque setting at maximum! Thank you Janice for your quick responses to our booking. So glad we managed to get a stay at the Wee House as it is very popular.

This house is a home from home on a beautiful island. We actually got married on Gigha during our stay and Nicola went above and beyond to help us gather together anything we might need. It is such a beautiful island and this is a brilliant place to stay. There isn't much accommodation of the island so we felt very grateful to have booked Ceol Mara for our special week.

Rathlin Island is a very special place and you really need to stay more than 1 day to fully enjoy it. The Loft at Druim is the perfect place to stay over. The longer the better to fully enjoy the enjoy the experience. Una and Stewart did an excellent job to turn an old barn into a cosy and spacious apartment. As soon as you step in, you can really feel they care about the place and they go the extra mile to make sure you have an amazing time on the island. They are just wonderful. Located in the spectacular west of the island close to seabird centre, you can reach a couple of trails quickly to explore the beautiful landscapes. It is a great place to relax, slow down and reflect on the word around us. it is absolutely lovely and very peaceful. You will have no problem to stay there anytime to recharges your batteries or to create something new if you are an artist. You can even play Scrabble if your prefer and try to score 36 points by writing the word ZEN!

We had a lovely stay at Katrina’s, what a wonderful location! Very comfortable apartment, had everything that we needed. Katrina met us and showed us around and shared some wonderful tips for finding the best beaches, restaurants, spotting the seals and pirates!

Had a fantastic stay in Lea's apartment as a base for our long weekend in Kintyre. The apartment is very clean, modern, comfortable and beautifully decorated. It has everything you need and lots of attention to detail. Easy to park on the street and walkable to all the local amenities. Lea was a friendly host with great communication, will definitely stay again when back in the area 😊

Although my stay was for work, it's made more palatable with great accomodation. Comfortable, quiet, warm, clean, well equipped & a great location to tour Islay. Comfy bed & well equipped kitchen. Outside parking is great ( tho the universal law for parking wherever you want during school times never ceases to anaze me as people parked left, right & indeed centre (right in front of the step's to the apartment)) My only minor point would be the TV is rather small & antiquated, especially for the size of the living room. The TV remote was a tad temperamental. The host is superb & I wouldn't think twice about booking again. Highly recommended!

Really lovely flat that was perfect for what we needed. The only thing I would say is it’s not east to find as the building doesn’t seem to have a name. We found it though (opposite the fish and chip place) and were even able to park right outside the door.

Attractive peaceful location which is close to Campbeltown. Looks like it has been recently refurbished to a high standard. Recommended.

Mary's place was in a great location and exactly as described. Unit provided a very comfortable stay with plenty of parking in close proximity. I would not hesitate to stay here again for golfing or exploring Campbeltown and the surrounding areas.

Perfect spot for middle of Campbeltown, clean and as stated. Equipped as you need. only thing that wasn't clear was where parking was available opposite until you got in to property but there were loads of spaces nearby so not an issue in the slightest.

What a fabulous place this is. A beautiful house situated on the far side of the small marina in Tayvallich. Quiet, peaceful and easily accessible to the most beautiful woodlands, with wildlife, birds, walks and stunning views. Helen and Mark were most welcoming and happy to help and advise on the surrounding areas. I could easily live here!! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We stayed here to use as a base to explore Kintyre. It was on a small farm a few miles south of Tarbert and Kennacraig where the ferry to Islay and Jura leaves from. Further south was where the ferry to Gigha leaves. Our main plan was to visit Gigha. The self catering accommodation was very comfortable and stylishly decorated. Just remember you’ll be staying on a small farm so be prepared to be wakened by bird song and a little later the cockerel 😂 We have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation. The hosts also have part of the farmhouse as a B&B.

Great stay in Kevin’s Flat. Perfect location with a short walk into the town and local amenities. Flat is spotlessly clean with everything you need for your stay. As regular visitors to Campbeltown we will definitely book again.

We had a fabulous time staying at Iwona's apartment in Campbeltown: spotlessly clean, great location, warm, VERY comfortable beds, smart TV...local highlights were the walks and Springbank Distillery Tour. Perfect location to explore Kintyre. Welcome biscuit box was a kind bonus/welcome extra! Thanks Iwona!
