There are so many sites to see within miles of Grandma's House. Though this home was built in the late 1800s, you will immediately feel the warmth and comfort of a modern day living experience.

Located near the Heritage Trail and RAMBA bike trailhead. Teal Lake is minutes away, and Marquette is just 20 minutes away. After a day of UP adventures, unwind under the stars in the hot tub. The hot tub is currently being serviced and expected to be available July 4th or sooner.

The house is located near the heritage trail and is close to other bike and snowmobile trails. The house also has an oversized two car garage where you can store your bikes or snowmobiles. We are a few blocks from downtown Ishpeming, and just a 20-minute drive to Marquette.

Guests have huge walk in shower and full bathroom amenities. Kitchen features Large island for entertainment purposes, full stove, oven and large fridge freezer option. This space has been remodeled in its entirety august 2021.

Nick's Backyard Bluff

We are proud of the space we provide and strive to make it comfortable, clean and affordable for your UP visits. So, relax with your family and friends at this peaceful place to stay. We recently added a gas/charcoal grill and updated the seating areas. We will continue to work on improving this home and hope to have a bar & grill and storage built in the back yard and available for next year.

The Sugar Shack

🌿The Sugar Shack is a cozy 12x12 rustic cabin tucked into 40 Acres of Northwoods and located 17 miles north of Marquette. Hidden in the foothills of the Huron Mountains, you will be in close proximity to our best hiking trails, waterfalls and beaches. The little town of Big Bay is nearby with a general store, fuel, bar, cafe and restaurant.
