It felt like home, everything anyone could need. The accommodation was so comfortable, with all local amenities on the door step. We loved the walks along the canal with our dog, weather was good (for a Bank Holiday weekend) It began to rain as we were packing up to leave, it was a much deserved break for us all.

We spent eleven nights in this lovely house during our trip to the UK. We liked the spacious rooms, comfortable beds and great shower. The location is ideal for exploring the local area and a great base for walking. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great accommodation in a great location, right in the middle of Hebden Bridge.

Cozy terrace house, beautifully decorated, we felt right at home. Good soundproofing between bedrooms and didn’t hear the neighbours so nice and quiet. Note that the staircases are extremely steep up to the 1st floor (master bedroom and single bedroom) as well as spacious bedroom on the second floor. One bathroom with lots of hot water and a great bath and shower. Enclosed garden for our dog was great, thanks for the dog welcome bowls and treats ! Parking was on the street right outside.

We had an amazing stay, Claire's had everything we could possibly need & more! Location was great, a 1 minute walk to the local pub which was really friendly & great for quiz night on a Wednesday! A 20 minute walk into Holmfirth for a choice of lovely coffee shops & places to eat! Plenty of walks & bike rides straight out of the house! Thank you for having us & thank you so much for all the tasty treats!

This is our favourite place to stay when we visit Halifax, especially when we want to bring our two dogs. It's only a few minutes' drive from the Piece Hall, Shibden Hall, the Bankfield Museum and other places we like to visit, but it is quiet and feels like countryside. Fields are on two sides, with deer and foxes that sometimes pose for us in early morning or at dusk. It's always clean. Everything we need is right there. We especially love have enough of a freezer to bring a week's worth of our dogs' favourite food. In the Halifax area we really don't want to stay anywhere else.

We stayed as Garry had some church business over the Easter so decided to make a break of it. Mark was a fantastic host, very responsive and left lots of lovely treats. House well equipped and modern with a fabulous bathroom and nice master bedroom and kitchen. It is off quite a busy road, so has many local shops and takeaways on the doorstep. It is on a residential street but the neighbours were friendly enough I imagine parking could be a bit of an issue sometimes. We had a nice break and had some nice food and drinks while there. Fab house with absolutely everything you could need in the. Great location. Only a short walk to a few pubs. We went to The Woodman for lunch which was lovely. The house has loads of space and a huge outdoor area with amazing views. We were lucky and got some sun on Easter Sunday. Also has a fire pit in the garden for when it cools down which we used. The kitchen is very well equipped and the oven is fab for making a dinner for a big family. Would definitely return. Thanks for a great stay.

We had a great stay. Great location with lots to do nearby. The park itself has a nice pub with great food and a playground in beer garden. The lodge is a great place to stay. Clean and has everything you need. Hosts were great at communicating with us. We would definitely stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay here with our Labrador, it is very dog friendly and we felt at home straight away. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and we had everything we needed in the lodge. We would definitely book again.

Lovely stay, shepherds hut was well equipped and had all you needed and was nice and cosy inside… outdoor space was also great and we loved the hot tub and bbq facilities which were provided. Gillan was a great host and showed us around, but privacy was not invaded which we liked. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Absolutely stunning cottage and great pool and jacuzzi! A stunning peaceful location with great local pub and amazing walks and things to do (but you may need to travel a bit like we did to see the fantastic surrounding area) Highly recommended to others and we will be returning. Had a great few days over the Easter weekend. The caravan is easy to find, well equipped and spotless. Donna provided clear instructions on how to check in etc and left a little welcome gift which was a nice touch. Would highly recommend for those wanting a peaceful stay on a beautiful site. Plenty to do in the surrounding area - can highly recommend a walk at Gisburn Forest.

We loved our time here, surrounded by nature - and lovely isolated place for a reset. Hoping to come back at some point, possibly for a winter getaway. Everything was dead easy - parking, self check-in, location, lodge itself, just very easy and homely. Highly recommended.

Honestly can't rate this place highly enough. We planned to stay for 2 nights but had such a great time we ended up staying an extra night. Extremely clean, lovely and quiet (it was off season) and plenty of places walkable or within a short drive. Everyone on the site seemed lovely and Angela was very responsive and gave lots of really good information before and during our visit. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

This is a lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. John was very accommodating regarding our late arrival and the cottage was easy to find and exactly as described. The cottage is very characterful and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. The garden is beautiful and very private. Thank you John, we’ve had a wonderful stay.

We are first time visitors in Skipton and glad we stayed with Mel and Jason's place. It was near to the place we were meeting with friends so that comes handy with us getting uber to and from the place. We were out much of the day so it's just nice to come home to a cozy place. Mel and Jason were responsive and timely with their reminders. They also offered some bread, eggs and butter which was thoughtful.

We had a fab 3-night stay and felt very comfortable. It was a well appointed kitchen for cooking and hosting others. Will hopefully stay again.

Our stay was lovely. Property was beautiful perfect location for our plans and the communication before and after was great. Wish we could have stayed longer!

My partner and I had a fantastic couple of days away here. The weather was perfect, so made the getaway even better. The views from the hut were breathtaking. Nic was very responsive on any queries we had. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone who wants a getaway for a few days. We already miss our trip!

Great communication, easy to find in a beautiful part of the Dales. Kathryn and her husband were very helpful when needed and left some lovely free range eggs we enjoyed for breakfast. Beds were comfy and house cosy. Great base for exploring.
