A new summerhouse, based on the beautiful lakefront of lake Meðalfellsvatn, Iceland. Only 40 minutes drive from Reykjavik. Sleeps 6 adults, or a family of 6 people. It has all the equipment a house needs. A spacious living room, a kitchen. Two big beedrooms, and a smaller bedroom. Double beds. Two bathrooms, master bathroom with a bathtub, and a bathroom with shower. A “Mancave” on the patio outside. A hottub. We are situated in the middle of the NORTHERN LIGHTS district for the winter months.

The Lake House is part of Hvammsvik Nature Resort & Hot Springs, a gated 1200 acre estate along the coast enjoying spectacular nature and views, only 40 min away from Reykjavik. It's a magical place where you become one with nature in a rustic yet luxurious lodge with top quality furniture and art and your own hot spring, fishing lake and close to many amazing sights like the Golden Circle, Glymur waterfall & hiking paths. On site you will find the renowned Hvammsvík Hot Springs, Bistro & Bar.

Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

This secluded cabin is just 35 min from Reykjavík and offers complete privacy along with a hot tub overlooking the lake. The bathroom is fully equipped, while the modest yet functional kitchenette includes all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Enjoy a selection of movies on the TV with a DVD player—please note there’s no WiFi, making this the perfect spot to unplug and enjoy a peaceful, cozy getaway. We use geothermal water. Beach House in Hvalfjordur

The Beach House consists of two properties by the sea in Hvalfjordur, 40 minute drive from Reykjavik. This cosy cabin and its little sister house, offer spectacular views and access to nature. It sits a moments drive from the wonderful Hvammsvik Nature Resorts and Hot Springs which is one of Iceland's most unique outdoor experiences. The Beach House is also in close proximity to the Golden Circle; Thingvellir, Gullfoss and Geysir.

The cabins are part of Hotel Hafnarfjall resort. In the cabins you can really feel the nature around. You have an exceptional view of the ocean and Hafnarfjall mountain on the other side. Borgarnes town is just across the bridge, where you can find restaurants and supermarket. Breakfast is not included in the price and it's additionally paid in the hotel reception.

This stylish and warm cabin is located in the beautiful valley Skorradalur. It is surrounded by picturesque settings; trees, mountains and lake view wherever you look. The relaxing surrounding is both quiet and peaceful, yet only 30 min drive from the nearest town.
