My wife and I visited for the weekend, Gemma was on hand from the moment of booking to leaving, the cottage is beautiful and situated in a small village so very peaceful, Gemma and Andrew have gone above and beyond to make the cottage homely, very modern but also keeping the charm of the 17th century, every item of furnishings fits in beautifully and the extras in the kitchen and bathroom are a lovely, welcome touch, you feel far away from anywhere when either in the hot tub or sitting in the garden, we had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate in highly recommending a stay here.

We loved our stay in Rambling Rose Cottage! Stayed a couple of nights and having walked miles along the coast from the house, it was a real treat to come back to relax in the hot tub in the sunshine. Lovely cottage, fab location and Dawn is a great host - would highly recommend booking!

I loved The Loft, it was just perfect. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything you could want or need, lots of lovely little touches made it really special. The view from the decking and the hot tub was spectacular and we spent many mornings and evenings just enjoying the peace and the surrounding views. I would definitely book again.

A beautiful and cosy home which was spotlessly clean and as described. It had a well equipped kitchen and the hot tub was ready to use on our arrival. I only wish we had stayed for longer!

An incredible place, i’d happily live here! Couldn’t recommend it more; clean, quiet yet modern. The space is perfect and beds are comfy. The hot tub is big and warm and it’s a beautiful location. The hosts have clear instructions and made the process smooth. Beyond happy with my stay here :)

Absolutely stunning cottage and great pool and jacuzzi! A stunning peaceful location with great local pub and amazing walks and things to do (but you may need to travel a bit like we did to see the fantastic surrounding area) Highly recommended to others and we will be returning. We enjoyed a great break in Peewit Cottage, which was spotless and had everything you need. The surroundings were well looked after and amenities great. The little touches, including the welcome pack (best we’ve had and included the dog!) and Prosecco and strawberries to enjoy in the hot tub were thoughtful and lovely. All the information you need is provided prior to arrival or readily available within the cottage. We used the cottage as a base to visit local attractions, all easily accessible by car. Glen was both very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend and somewhere we would return to. Thank you, Jacqueline!

Stayed with my friends for a night and place was lovely. Just right for what we needed. Hot tub was a good size and good outdoor seating. Decor was lovely and quirky, gave off a really nice cottage and rustic feel

Absolutely perfect little get away in a lovely area. My girlfriend really liked it and wants to go again. Very cosy and private place with a little garden for the dogs. Beautiful surroundings will 100% be booking again. Very responsive host even though we got there late. Thanks again

Was only staying for 2 nights. But a lovely welcome from Kay and family. Very comfortable. Clean tidy. Parking is hit and miss if you have anything bigger than a car. I had a Vw van 😀. But parking found in the next street, not far away. Lovely location. As it turned out. A member of my family had stayed there previously, and loved it too.

We booked The Nest last minute and Anette was extremely attentive from the start to finish of our stay. The house was exactly as described & was immaculate. Bed was so comfortable & lots of attention to detail! Great location for exploring the local area. Pub right across the road with good pub grub , Co Op literally paces away& a fabulous foodie pub The Eskdale is a 10 min walk away. Thank you Annette we loved our stay as did our dog !

It was a lovely,well situated cottage. Extremely easy to get to the surrounding north York moors and the dales. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and had helpful information on the surrounding area. The cottage was very clean and homely. Pub within walking distance just across the bridge in the village. Would recommend walk from the beautiful Sutton bank national park which was only 10 minutes drive from the cottage followed by a lovely drink at the pub in hamby. Would definitely go back and stay there again.

What can I say... Absolutely fantastic place. You couldn't ask for anything more. Really peaceful location with fantastic views of the hills etc. We had a strange issue but this was sorted out very swiftly by Malcolm 👍 We will definitely be looking to book again and have another peaceful time just watching the world go by. Great cottage to stay at, has everything you could need and located in a very handy place for getting to Whitby and the moors.

Lovely weekend at Button Cottage. Cottage is in a fantastic location for local walks and easy access to nearby towns. Cottage was clean and cozy and had everything we needed, even our dog was catered for with food and water bowls, towel and treats, the human welcome goodies were very much appreciated as well. The cottage was well equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. All in all a great little place to stay, would definitely recommend.

Abbey Hill Cottages to high above W. Hartlepool. They are well equipped.Beds are comfortable and so is sitting room furniture. Plenty of hot water. Good shower.Lots of space. I would stay again.

We were a group of friends walking the Herriot way and Leeside provided an overnight stop. Carey was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed the open fire and the cosy surroundings. We would not hesitate to recommend Carey to family and friends

Emma’s countryside home in Menethorpe, Marlon is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. The location is truly picturesque, with a peaceful stream nearby and horses, sheep, and cows grazing in the surrounding fields. It’s the perfect base to explore the area — York is just a short drive away, and the lovely village of Malton is only 5 minutes down the road, offering great restaurants, shops, and pubs. The house itself is cozy, super safe, and very well furnished, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable family vacation. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Emma was a fantastic host and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re visiting this part of the country, this is a must-stay. Thank you, Emma — we’re already looking forward to returning!

What a find! Amazing place to stay. Not only is it a 5 star accommodation, it's a perfect place to explore the local area and has the best back garden I've ever experienced i.e. "The Himalayan Gardens & Sculptures". The accommodation itself was warm, cosy and spotlessly clean, plenty of space for two adults and two springer spaniels. We valued the entrance with it's stone floor to rub down our wet pups when arriving back after our adventures. With plenty of logs for the burner it added to the feeling of home from home. Everything supplied in the cottage is top class quality. The outside area included an enclosed patio which many need if they have dogs with them. We were there when the gardens were closed so it was quiet and such a treat to be able to walk around not sharing it with anyone else. We will be back and have already recommended the cottage to our friends and family. Thank you Will and Sophie

Anna always replied to any questions very fast. The cottage had all the amenities required. The cottage was nestled in the town centre, but you would not know it as it was so quiet. Loved it, if I was in the area again I would not hesitate in trying to book this again.

We had a wonderful stay at Haven cottage. It was our first holiday with our baby and the cottage had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and easy, with a travel cot, baby bath and even a baby carrier provided by Anna. The cottage was lovely and the location was perfect being a short walk to a pub, cafe and lots of country walks. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to do so again!

Amazing stay and a fantastic host! The place is spacious, clean and located in a truly idyllic location. I was there with my husband and 4 children and found it more than spacious enough for all of us. The garden is also beautiful :) Fantastic stay and we will definitely be back! Thank you, David!
