Rock Lobster is amazing, was hard to get a feel from the pictures as they are a bit dated. But was not the case when we walked in, the place was bright with a modern feel. The veiw is stunning, worth the money alone. We caught the cleaner before check in, and she was super friendly and gave us lots of great information about the house and the area. The hot tub was a perfect way to start or end the day. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for a self sufficient stay. Just make sure to have your supplies with you, as the town consists of a small general store / takeaway shop. I highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Southport.

Simply stunning! Entering through an impressive gate through bushland to a house on a hill…. lit up from every room ….was an impressive beginning. With sweeping water views. Every convenience provided from the sparkling wine and bread… to a pantry full of staples, coffee machine with beans…..and picnic hamper, blanket, plenty of wood and walking poles for the amazing trails marked around the property. This place has it all! Somewhat a nature reserve and very peaceful. Views of the stars one could only dream of. And responsive hosts!

This was such a perfect spot! Lovely unobstructed views of the water, an outdoor jacuzzi and luxurious amenities. We loved the local birds and the peaceful vibes ☺️. It was also great having our two small pups with us. Thank you so much 😊

sehr schönes zweistöckiges Ferienhaus mit ganz viel Platz zum Verweilen. sehr gut ausgestattete Küche und schöne Einrichtung. Jacuzzi auf der Terasse war ebenfalls sehr toll. Einzig der Telefonempfang sehr schlecht und Wifi nicht funktional.

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

Beautiful property with lots of space and a lovely atmosphere. Tina was really helpful and quick to respond to any inquiries we had. Easy access easy to find with Tina’s instructions. Would recommends this property to anyone looking for a little getaway not too far from Hobart. Thank you so much - we will be back
