During my stay at this Airbnb, the host's warmth and hospitality truly stood out, making me feel right at home. The accommodation itself was impeccable, offering a cozy and well-equipped space for a relaxing retreat. What truly enhanced my experience were the diverse activities organized by the host, adding a special touch to my trip. While the only drawback was the limited and rocky beach within walking distance, the sandy beach was a 10-minute drive. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb for a delightful stay with a fantastic host, a comfortable setting, and a variety of enjoyable activities

Overall we had a pleasant stay at Gaylna’s place. The cottage was spacious and like the photos. The lake was beautiful and perfect for swimming and we enjoyed the interior sauna as well. Unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy the back yard as much as there were lots of geese poo but that was probably unavoidable. Otherwise the deck and the dock were clean and well kept. Gaylna was a responsive host and even offered to bring back one of the items we forgot at the cottage back to Toronto for us to pick up which we appreciated. Warning re: pets - We had with us 3 dogs which we had gotten approval from the host for prior to booking and ‘3 pets’ was listed in our booking. No pet fee was listed in the description or house rules but 1 week before our stay we were asked to sign a contract for $25/dog a day in additional fees after booking which we thought was unfair. Gaylna ended up waiving this after we protested however we would have appreciated more transparency regarding additional fees

beautiful location very close to Halliburton Township property is on a gorgeous Sandy Beach at shallow and very clean free of weeds. our Cottage was very cozy an clean and uniformly decorated in a very country like feel it had all the amenities and a beautiful ensuite washroom for the main bedroom with a jacuzzi and bidet no less. we met the host a few times as he was staying in the main house next to the cottage he was very friendly and talkative my son and his daughter got along very well given that they were the same age. definitely will rebook next year if available

This is my third time coming back to Patricia’s cottage, and we always have a wonderful stay. The sun room is the perfect place to play games and watch the rain, we loved the large dock with the built in umbrellas and anti gravity chairs, and the beds were really comfortable. Patricia is friendly and communicative. Thank you so much for another wonderful stay!

We stayed at Natalya’s place for two nights with 5 adults and 3 kids. We really enjoyed the stay, the house is beautiful, you can tell it’s well loved and taken care of. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Natalya was responsive and kind, I’d definitely recommend this place for a peaceful getaway.

This is a great place to stay to explore Algonquin park. We had a fabulous couple of nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The place itself is lovely a private and is a short drive to the gates to the Algonquin park which is stunning. The host was very responsive and it felt like everything had been thought of. Highly recommend this place

We love all the facilities Duke has provided to our family. The house is clean and tidy with advanced facilities. The backyard is huge and equipped with all you need in the vacation home. Our family enjoyed the whole time, especially the great lake view and quiet private environment. The kids like canoeing in the lake. We highly recommend this vacation home and definitely want to come back to enjoy it in the future. Thank you Duke.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful place! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the stunning front yard with an incredible fire pit that made for cozy evenings under the stars. The backyard was just as fantastic, featuring a lovely pool and hot tub that provided the perfect spots for relaxation and fun. The property was well-maintained, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We would absolutely love to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Cathy's place is wonderful. The home is open and spacious with a great layout. Everything was comfortable and just right. The home is in an ideal location to get to both Wasaga and Collingwood and also right in town if need anything. I would definitely book here again next time I am in town. Thank you Cathy!

my partner and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful house for a few days. it was very clean inside and the house has everything you'll need including a washer and dryer. we were also able to meet the host/owners, as we had some questions for them. they are both amazing and warm people and I could tell they really wanted us to feel at home. we couldn't thank them enough for their kind generosity. if we're able to make it back to the area we will definitely stay again.

My husband and I, along with our two adventurous pups, absolutely loved our cozy cottage escape in the Kawarthas! This place had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing retreat. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of privacy, even in a small neighborhood—those tall bushes really made it feel like our own little hideaway. Our dogs were in heaven, running around the beautifully manicured backyard with plenty of space to explore. Inside, the cottage was just as charming, with adorable, cozy bedrooms and a kitchen stocked with everything we needed, whether we were grilling outside or whipping up a delicious meal indoors. The kitchen appliances were spotless and felt brand new. And the view from the living room? Simply stunning! We spent countless hours just soaking in the beautiful lakeside scenery right from the comfort of the couch. Although we didn’t get as much fishing in as we’d hoped, we’re already planning our next trip back! Big thanks to Mel & Stu!

Although we were not able to stay long at Joann’s place due to a family emergency we had a wonderful time while we were there. The place is spacious and great for a family. We had everything we needed there. It was very clean and everything was organized. I would love to come back another time and really enjoy your beautiful home.

We stayed 2 nights at Jack's place. It was very nice as the kitchen was well stocked, beds were very comfortable, and we were close to all amenities. Jack was very quick to respond to inquiries. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.
