Beautiful views from the deck, quiet area, deer, and great fenced yard. We (my dog and I) enjoyed our stay, April snow and all!

We had a great stay! We’re the first ones in for the season. Brought our toddler and mini Aussie. We always love Cuchara but got to explore new trails like Dikes trail which was walking distance from this Airbnb. The place is clean and gorgeous and lots of games inside to enjoy. Comfortable sleeping arrangements. Lots of recommendations left by the host which was appreciated. Amanda was also super responsive when we had a little hiccup with the battery on the lock. Thanks so much for a great stay! We’ll be back.

Very cozy house, private and very clean.

Well-equipped kitchen to cook for a group, and lovely sunny adjacent dining area, with plenty of nooks and inviting living spaces. Beautiful remote setting, very private. Just remember it’s 45 minutes from grocery or restaurant or gas. Christy is a cheerful and responsive host who is on the forefront of local regenerative agriculture practice.

Absolutely the most relaxing vacation ever! This house was perfect for resting up after a hectic Thanksgiving week at our bakery. We loved our time spent with family in the mountains… played board games, cooked, and rested. We loved the quietness of being in Cuchara in the off season. The views were beautiful, s as promised, and it was easy to find.

Amy and Theresa's place is located just by the mountains in a secluded location with amazing views all around. We visited in mid April and got some snow which made the view even more lovely. The house is relatively small but feels very roomy and cozy. My kids had such a great time that my 8 yo was literally hugging the walls when we left! Getting there can be a bit challenging since you have to drive 4 miles through dirt roads, but Amy was very helpful and we made it there without much hassle.

Beautifully decorated cabin! Great views! Great communication! Overall, great experience with the cabin and host!

We loved our stay at Ron and Carol’s guesthouse ! It is very large , cozy and has everything you could possibly need ! The couple live on the property and will respond to any issues that may arise immediately:) they are super friendly and you can even buy Carol’s artwork displayed in the house. I bought 2 pairs of earrings, a scarf, coasters and two prints . These items will always remind us of our wonderful stay in Southern Colorado :) Thanks again Ron and Carol for the hospitality! Chris was very helpful ensuring we knew what to expect prior to arriving. Answered any questions we had and even sent a video making sure we knew how to make it up the driveway! We had a great time and the cabin worked perfectly for our 2 families! We come to Cuchara every year for family reunion and will definitely try to rebook for next year! Thanks Chris!

It was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we were looking for! We took our two dogs and hiked Humboldt on Friday morning… what a beautiful summit. Cabin was super original and the property was quiet. Will be back

Eva was very responsive and very thorough in helping us check in and find the location. she did everything to make sure it was a convenient process. the views were amazing from the mountain tops to the stars. the location is the only downfall. the road to get there is very bumpy and I would recommend a vehicle with high clearance (so not a sedan, like us). there also aren't any grocery stores nearby so make sure you are well prepared to camp with what you have on you or you will need to drive 30 minutes to one. if you are camping then it's a great option with better views than you'll get in a state park. Just felt like it was worth mentioning if you are considering booking. I highly recommend camping here for the views alone.

Had such a great time at La Veta. Ski resort was closed but kids had such. Good time sledding!!

Literally my favorite Airbnb stay to date. We loved everything about the place. It was gorgeous, and homey, but not cluttered. It was spotlessly clean. Very cool art. A lot of bnbs are very dated, kind of dirty because they're older, super cheap dollar store dishes and silverware, you get one towel (you might steal a second towel!) and this experience was the polar opposite. It felt luxury. What a fantastic place.

What a FANTASTIC place, this home was very modern and cozy. great for a couple wanting to have a quiet weekend, 5 stars!!!
