John got back to me quickly when I had any questions. I could get ahold of him anytime. The place was perfect for our families-enough beds for everyone (8). Plenty of towels and the golf cart was in great shape.

This place was perfect. It was centrally located, easy to get to, dog friendly and had everything anyone would need on a trip. We were there for work and couldn’t have had a better stay. Lindsey and Thomas were so responsive with any questions I had. The staff also was super nice. We will definitely be booking again for future work trips!

My family of 3 had a great time visiting friends at the campground. Rented a golf cart and had such a great time bouncing around all day. Place was cozy and very nice to stay in.

Kevin reached out prior to our visit to make sure we had all the information we needed. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by little signs, welcoming us, as well as our dog, by name! The beach-themed decor is super cute! The gated deck area and the screened in porch were great for us and our dog. The community is very welcoming and friendly. Having access to the golf cart was helpful and convenient. We enjoyed the pools and Jacuzzi in the community area. Although it rained all week during our stay, we were able to find fun things to do in Myrtle Beach, such as Ripley’s aquarium, the house of mirrors and the haunted house. We highly recommend crabby Mike’s seafood buffet as a fun place to eat. The thermostat on the AC broke during our stay. Kevin was at the door within about 30 minutes and it was fixed by a professional within two hours. We really appreciated his responsiveness! Kevin and Janet were excellent hosts and we enjoyed our stay at the playful pelican very much!

My husband and i stayed at the Mint cottage with our two pups for their first beach trip ever! We could not have been more happy with our choice of accommodation. Joe and Lisa were excellent hosts and the house was stocked with all needs. Would and will definitely book with them again in the future!

Loved the location and very comfortable bed

We had a great stay. Everything was as described. The location was close to a lovely park, several blocks from the beach, and close to restaurants and shops. I would stay again.

This was our 2nd time to stay at Sara's place. 2 wks the 1st time and 3 wks this time. This really says it all . The beach is a 7 minute walk. Golf and restaurants are within minutes. The accommodation is great. 1 bedroom with all the things you need. Sara is a wonderful host. Unfortunately our paths did not cross this time, but she responses immediately to any communication. Once again this year, Sara's place was the perfect match to all our needs.

We had a great time enjoying the outdoors and hope to be back again to enjoy the river even more! Thank you for making everything so perfect for our stay, Junie had such a great time, we loved including her in everything! Thanks for allowing dogs and keeping such a beautiful place.

Such a lovely house. We loved the screened porch and easy walk to the beach. Lots of fun entertainment options (books, games, movies) for a rainy day. The outdoor shower was amazing as well! Overall 10 stars and we’ll definitely reserve again in the future.

The home was very clean and it’s in a great location on the island. We would be happy to rent again in the future.

Excellent place for a group of 6 within walking distance to the beach. Communication with Tena was good there were plenty of beach towels, chairs and umbrellas available plus a second fridge downstairs. The ambience is a bit dated but everything was clean and functioning. We will book it again if we return to Myrtle Beach

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint cottage beach house. Jessica is so sweet and very responsive. Upon arrival, she left us a gift filled with goodies and treats for ourselves and our 4 children, which we thought was very thoughtful. The house was clean and free of clutter. It was well stocked with games & toys for the kids and TVs in all the rooms which is a plus! The kids also really enjoyed the bunk beds. Ocean Lakes is one of our favorite places to go in the Summertime and we were thrilled to have found Jessica's home, given that it is very affordable and suited in a great location within the campgrounds. We were able to enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee in the mornings and either walk or take a short golf cart trip right over to the beach! The home is also close to the Sandy Mart and all of the amenities that Ocean Lakes has to offer. We will be returning for future stays! Thanks again for a pleasant stay!

Merribeth was an amazing host! She reached out with great recommendations of places to visit for our stay and checked in to make sure everything was to our liking. I have been coming to Myrtle Beach every year for the last 21 years and she is by far one of the best hosts I have worked with. The home was very clean and welcoming! It had everything we needed from towels and linens, kitchen appliances and cookware and beach chairs and games. We had EVERYTHING we could have asked for. It is a very short walk to the beach, the pool is right outside the front door and even with all of these accommodations, the home is in a peaceful and quiet setting! We look forward to coming back again next year!

What a beautiful home, everything a PERFECT. Corn hole, fire pit and a lovely swing. The front porch was amazing. It was very convenient to the beach and restaurants. The hosts were always accessible very helpful and friendly. One of our favorite vacations so far.
