Nestled in a tranquil garden this self-contained architecturally designed studio, is surrounded by glass, with multiple outdoor living spaces. With a private outdoor bath and open fire, this is the perfect romantic getaway. Situated by the ‘Great Taste Bike Trail’, we provide two bikes & helmets included in your rate, as well as some local treats on arrival. A vineyard at front and market garden at back, you are in the country, yet only five mins by car to Richmond, 20 mins to Nelson City.

Karaka Studio on Manuka Island Nelson/Tasman

Karaka studio is on the very edge of the Waimea Inlet with water twenty metres from your front door. Lie in bed and watch the tide come in. We are a private estuary island (Manuka Island) but we have drive on access at all times, 25 minutes to Nelson and Motueka. Rabbit Island beach(4km) and Taste Nelson Cycle Trail is a km from our gate. We are central to vineyards, cafes, 3/4 hour to Abel Tasman National park. We have amazing sea, rural , and mountain views. Total privacy assured.

Compact stand alone semi rural country cottage amongst the fruit trees, Wi fi available ,situated 1km from Brightwater & only 15 minutes to Richmond. Close proximity to cycle trails. Suitable for 2 guests with queen size bed, separate kitchen set up for light cooking and bathroom facilities. Own washing machine . Self check in with lockbox. Owners live on property There is a wooden deck with outdoor furniture & bbque. $15 fee will be incurred should an EV be charged at our cottage .
