Fay's place is amazing - extremely well appointed, squeaky clean, super cosy, so comfortable. The house is beautiful and perfect for a family. Extremely convenient to all of the beautiful walks the area has to offer, plus Monmouth for anything you might need. Fay and Mike were so kind - showing us around their garden, letting my child help feed the horses. Lovely outdoor fire area and grounds for us to explore. Fay was also incredibly responsive. What a gem of a place!

Irene was a very friendly and helpful host. made us feel right at home on arrival, and gave us very clear instructions on how to find the accommodation before hand. Great knowledge and plenty of recommendations on where to visit during our stay. Would definitely stay again. 10/10

We had a great stay celebrating my birthday. We felt very welcomed on arrival and Gabriel gave us plenty of ideas for days out and local sights to visit. As well as this there were plenty of brochures of local activities and eateries in the guest book. Lovely scenic location complimented by the gorgeous weather, overall it was a great stay.

Perfect place. Beautiful walks all around which felt like a few steps from the front door. Spotless place with lovely personal touches. Really clear instructions to find and access property. Super dog friendly. We loved it!

What a wonderful gem of a cottage. About the cottage-: The lounge sofa is so so comfy and big to chill out on. The king bed in the main bedroom is so comfy too and with the peaceful tranquil setting, made for a great night’s sleep. Having the use of 2 bathrooms is also great. The absolute gem is the balcony - a great sun trap when having your morning coffee. We had mixed weather during our stay but those precious moments sitting on the balcony when the sun came out, was lovely. Even the dog loved it. Easy to find - although a narrow lane to the cottage- there are plenty of passing places so it’s not scary as we had a big SUV and the parking space opposite cottage, was easy to park our car. The communal gardens out the front are pretty and convenient for your dog. The location and scenery are superb— to walk out from your door. Highly recommend the Ye Ole Ferrie Inn (10 mins walk) on the same side. Thank you- we definitely want to return.

We loved our stay at East View…so much so we have booked already to return! It’s a very comfortable house (and bed!) with everything you need. The large garden was great for our kids and dog and we just loved the location. We explored from the door with so much biking/walking available. Highly recommend the walk to Symonds Yat and canoeing on the Wye too!

Wow! What to say?!! The Apple Loft is incredible! We had to tear ourselves away this morning: we could have looked at that view forever <3 Jenny and Jemima were the perfect hosts, with excellent communication and the warmest welcome to match the gorgeousness of the location. The Apple Loft is perfectly appointed, thoroughly charming and a beautiful haven. Its seclusion is part of its appeal, with very little traffic noise to interrupt the tranquility and birdsong. Our welcome pack was deliciously generous, and we particularly enjoyed toasting the marshmallows on the firepit, looking out over the fields at sunset. We were away for a long weekend, celebrating my 50th birthday, and I wouldn't change a thing about it. The Apple Loft was warm, cosy, and airy at the same time! It had everything we needed and more besides. It was clean and comfortable; quirky touches (like the spoon cupboard handles!) added to its appeal and homeliness. I could go on, but this is my character limit :)

We absolutely loved this place! It was amazing. We enjoyed the cottage, the garden and loved to go to puzzlewood and tintern abbey! Carol is an amazing host. Thank you again for everything! ❤️

Had a lovely stay at the retreat, peaceful set in a lovely part of the forest. Lucas the cat was always there to welcome us, loved the goats and sheep. Andrew was responsive and helpful before and during our stay. The retreat was lovely and clean, had everything we needed during our stay. Overall a lovely relaxing couple of days away, would definitely return!
