It was a very wonderful holiday and the host was a very friendly and elegant person and the place was very elegant and clean and I loved the services provided there such as the wood stove and the handmade twilight and the quiet place and we loved Harry the dog All services were available and the thing I liked most about the whole vacation was that everything there was handmade. Thank you and your wonderful hospitality.

We had a really lovely stay at Carol’s shepherd’s hut. It was cosy and in such an idyllic location where we were able to fully wind down and relax for our stay. The added touches made a difference and Carol was proactive in her communication which was lovely. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

Beautiful gypsy caravan in peaceful surroundings on the edge of Hay-on-Wye. Great option for anyone visiting the festival

A fantastic little break away! :) Check in was super simple and everything was clean, hot tub was ready to go and everything looked like the pictures! Was easy to get a bbq ( we called) and it came within 10 mins. Was lovely having a bbq whilst enjoying the views. The views are stunning and there’s a wonderful green full of activities for children. There’s also the communal area which was clean, had everything you’d need and well maintained. Great space and was really impressed Check out was super easy and we had such an amazing time. Will be returning for sure :)

Lovely place to spend a few days in peace in quiet. The hot tub was amazing and the hosts are very friendly. The hut is in close proximity to the Wye Valley, which is a great place to explore.

AMAZING stay in a nearby paradise. Everything you need to connect back to nature. Cosy and beautiful - would have stayed there forever if we could have!

A fantastic little escape — serene, peaceful, and offering a stunning panoramic view. It is wonderfully remote and secluded, yet ideally located for local hikes and exploring the Brecon Beacons. The lovely little carriage is beautiful and cosy, perfectly fitting the whole 'closer to nature' experience. Graham is an excellent host: friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The freshly baked loaf was such a nice touch as well. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay!

Such beautiful accommodation in a lovely and peaceful environment. It was lovely being so close to nature but with the main town only a 5 minute walk away. Gary & Kate were quick to respond and very helpful with any queries or questions we had too.

Mary-Anne’s place is simply fabulous! It is just as advertised, a luxurious place to escape to. Perfect for all weathers as has excellent central heating, instant hot water for showering and filling the fab spacious outdoor tub- what a view! Peaceful, private with everything you could wish for. The lake for a swim, the Sauna and Jacuzzi did not disappoint. Two nights was a perfect way to enjoy my birthday and to use all there was on offer. We simply had the best time and were sad to leave ‘man’s best friend’ Ruby and her ball. What a gem! Xxx

Lovely little cabin with a lovely view and place to relax. Will only improve once the tub is set up. The shared swimming pool was beautiful! I lasted 15 seconds in there but I was happy with that!

A unique stay in the shepherds hut with beautiful surroundings. Had all the facilities needed for a long weekend, and extra luxury with the hot tub.

We had an amazing stay at Louise's place. it was so peaceful in lovely surroundings. We just wanted to relax for a few days without doing a great deal and it was an ideal place to do exactly that. The guide to the local area and amenities was especially helpful. slightly disappointed with the... weather! but only to be expected in the UK! still managed a dip in the pool which was superb!, tried a game of tennis and enjoyed the hottub. it really was a lovely stay, waking up to the ponies and wildlife was amazing too! would highly recommend Louise as a host

I stayed with my dog Zip and we really enjoyed the hut. The river is peaceful and the hot tub relaxing. Would recommend.

The Bobbin was super clean, owners had thought of everything you could wish for. The views were absolutely stunning. Was looking for a peaceful space and was exactly that. We will definitely be back. Would 1000% recommend

What a stunning hut with beautiful views! The farm is breath taking! The hut has everything you need and the bed is super cozy. Their info book with the walking trails around the area was super helpful if you don't know where to start. As well as nearby cafes, restaurants and shops. It was lovely to have an enclosed area for our pooch Ripley to have a wonder and explore as well. We can thank Laura enough for a perfect get away! Would highly recommend for someone who needs a getaway and a mental reset. From Leoni, Matthew and Ripley 🐶

The Shepherd's Hut has everything you need for luxury camping! Lovely interior with dreamy touches such as sash windows, high-quality bedding, and enamelware. Well designed and clear handbook, and friendly and helpful hosts. We camped in style, cooked outdoors on the butane camping stove, provided, and roasted marshmallows (also provided) at night over the fire pit . It was also classy touch having your own WC and shower allotted to Shepherd's Hut. Fantastic location, 5 minute shuffle to a gravel beach on the banks of the River Wye, great for canoeists or just lazing around watching the swans.

Perfect stay from start to finish . Great location outstanding views lots to see and do . Particularly liked having the sauna and bath outside completely in touch with nature for a great chill after a long walk .everything needed is here . Nick was very adaptable with times and lovely welcome on arrival to fresh flowers and homemade cakes. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return later in year

We had a lovely 3 night stay here just wish it had been longer. Beautiful, peaceful location. Hut very clean, tidy and cosy and bed comfy. Enjoyed the bbq and fire pit. Our 2 working cocker spaniels loved the field to run around. Cathy was lovely and friendly. Nearby Hay-on-Wye a lovely quaint little town to visit and to walk along the river. We will be back.

Wow...just WOW! This place is a little slice of heaven. Amazing location. So peaceful. The hut had everything you needed. Super comfy and cozy. Sian and Jack are just the best hosts. They gave us everything we needed to make out stay ideal. Friendly, welcoming and informative re all the bits and bobs in the local area. Make sure you do the Bryn Arw and Sugar Loaf circular and stop at the Crown for a well earned pint or too.

From start to finish our stay in the huts just purely a treat, views delightful & relaxing. Pip the pig was cute, the zip wire & hot tub made the stay a treat for our grandson. Jude made us very welcome & even provided rain coats we’d forgotten to pack. Perfect stay & returning soon. David, Denise & Harry

We really enjoyed our stay, such a unique little shepherds hut, very comfortable, clean and cozy. Great instructions for the place. Would ideally have like somewhere a little further from the A road as could hear it from inside but wasn’t a bother and absolutely cannot be helped at all.
