Enjoyed our stay! As advertised!

It was a wonderful weekend getaway! We went up here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday in a peaceful way and to disconnect from the outside world. It was homie and beautiful all around. We were able to bring our dog and he enjoyed running around, bathing in the sun, and visiting the cow! We will sure be back once late spring/ summer hits! So thankful for James and Sofi to open up their cabin to us!

Excellent stay in a unique home! Set in the woods, this one room home is a unique experience. Clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and in a convenient location near Black Mountain and Asheville. I highly recommend staying.

We had a great stay! The house was easy to find, very clean, had a beautiful view of the mountains, and within minutes of everything we wanted to do. Doing our stay we shopped in downtown Hendsersonville, did a hike, visited a vineyard (Point Lookout - ask for Mimi), listened to some homegrown live bluegrass /gospel music (Feed and Seed, Friday nights only), watched the Kentucky Derby at a local bar (Auction House), and grilled steaks on the front porch. Thank you Ken & Kim for hosting a much needed getaway.

The hosts were very very responsive. Very clean Cabins too. Even though pets are allowed, there was no sign of pets inside, very well cleaned. We had a very small concern, and they were right there the second I messaged them! Very very helpful! We will definitely start booking our family reunion June stays here from now on!

I had an amazing stay! The cottage was so cozy and peaceful. The location was perfect near a small town and not far from downtown Asheville. Definitely an Airbnb I’d love to come back to!

This place is the picture of quaint and peaceful. Sitting outside on the porch playing card games in the evening was probably the highlight because of how beautiful everything was. It’s not far from Asheville but also tucked away in an area that felt safe and homey. Wren was very sweet in reaching out before check in. So overall we had a fantastic stay here and would come again.

I met and spoke with Christopher a number of times. He has incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. He gave me recommendations about settling in to Asheville. I'm def glad I had a chance to meet him.

My dog and I enjoyed our stay, couldn’t be more happy with the location. The attention to detail in the design or the home is breathtaking. No interruptions, quiet neighborhood and privacy. Tons of natural lighting, sleek design throughout the property (interior and exterior). Simple check-in, friendly host, highly recommended. Look forward to our next stay, hopefully it’s a longer one. Great spot at a reasonable price! Private location - felt like we had several acres to ourselves - there was nobody in sight! Would definitely stay here again!

Tara + Steve were excellent hosts in every way. I could not recommend their AirBnB more highly—it is a sweet little slice of heaven nestled in the Appalachian mountains. I really appreciated their emphasis on environmental consciousness and they clearly take pride in their communications with guests. We felt right at home at every point in our visit, never needed a thing because Tara was always one step ahead of us. 10/10!!! One of a kind.

Adam was a great host. His tiny home was clean, comfortable and cozy with all the amenities needed. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful but within a very shirt drive to town. We loved sitting on the porch and listening to the songbirds. My sister and I had a lovely stay in the tiny home and are happy to recommend Adam as a host. Thank you for hosting us!

I started to feel right at home very quickly. With the windows and doors open, it is hard to find a more peaceful spot. The solar powered generator is plenty enough, and the shower is quite relaxing. You will most likely make a new friend called a Whip-Poor-Will (rare bird) because you cannot miss his call. The wood stove is extremely helpful, but will heat the place up really fast so be conservative with it. The propane cooktop heats up very fast as well and is efficient. Finally, yes, insects are expected, which may include a couple wasps. To be fair, there are traps set up so they are being proactive about it. All in all, you cannot beat this for the price. My wife and I quickly fell in love with the place and we both left very inspired. I still think about what its like to lay on that bed with the windows and doors open. There is nothing like it.

We had an amazing time! We wish we had more time to truly enjoy the peacefulness and outside area at the treehouse, it was lovely!

My daughter and I really enjoyed the tiny home. It was just the right size for the two of us. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed a movie. It was a nice forested area and very cozy home.

The cottage is perfect for 2 people and a dog. It’s in a great location that is walking distance to downtown. And there’s a great coffee and ice cream place at the end of the block. I would definitely recommend the cottage.

Stop it! Are we in Heaven? This place is definitely a slice of it! So peaceful. Open the windows and listen to the birds welcome you. The fire pit was peaceful and so nice to have. Host is 10 star! She really made us feel like friends. Easy to get to all the attractions around you. Check out the waterfalls. Oh and rain + tin roof? ***swoons***

We've stayed with Dixiemarree several times when visiting family in the area. Her house is surrounded by forest so you can enjoy the dawn chorus of birds. The place is clean and comfortable with a great bed--very important to a back pain sufferer! Dixiemarree is very friendly and helpful, lending us tools we needed and giving recommendations for local services to help with our daughter's house issues. She's always fun to talk to! Quick drive to West Asheville with great places to eat and right next door to the beautiful North Carolina Arboretum.

Stayed for a week to do some hiking at Pisgah and it was the perfect place! So cozy and peaceful, the cabin was very clean and the perfect size! The fire pit outside was perfect at night and the creek in the back was so peaceful. We had the best week! Will definitely be back and recommend!

Clean and comfortable home, walkable to shops, restaurants and breweries. Short drive to Asheville. Great experience.

It was a little hard to find, but the instructions were clear, I was just trying to find it in pitch blackness because I was arriving very late. The road was a bit rough, my prius was not happy with me... but holy cow was it worth the bumpy drive. Amazing little space. Cozy, safe, gorgeous. STUNNING views. The hot tub was INCREDIBLE. It was very homey and cozy. If I am ever in the area I will be back!! So amazing! I most definitely recommend.

Always love staying at their cabins! Great back porch looking out at the field and mountains. So relaxing! Close to town for convenience and quiet. Perfect for a weekend getaway
