Our stay at Starlight Serene was everything we hoped it would be! John was very responsive and helpful, especially as this was our first time using AirBnB. The pictures are very accurate, there were plenty of towels, linens, and a VERY well equipped kitchen - much more than we expected (or I have in my own house, I think!). Lots of nice bonuses to this place - my kids loved the firepit and there was wood on hand as well as a s'mores kit; the hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived. You are at the narrower end of the lake, but still a beautiful view with plenty of wildlife. The location is great - roughly 30ish minutes to Bear Mountain, Legoland, and the Palisades Center (which had tons of rainy-day fun for kids). We even rented a pontoon boat from Murphy's Cove Marina - Richie was really wonderful to us and our kids and they loved their first time boating and fishing on the lake. Joanne and Rick are so nice and welcoming. Their place is nice and clean and they are very friendly. I stayed the weekend for a spartan race at Bear Mountain and felt right at home. Even my five-year-old had the time of her life. We will definitely be back in the summer.

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was immaculate and was perfect. We were in town for the Spartan race and not only was the location great for the race but was located perfectly for other activities. We highly recommend! Thanks for having us! A+ airbnb!

I recently had the pleasure of staying here which is located right in front of a stunning lake, and it exceeded all our expectations. The location was simply perfect; we woke up each morning to the tranquil views of the water, and it quickly became our favorite spot. Our host was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. They were always available to answer any questions we had in a short amount of time. Overall, our experience at this lakefront Airbnb was wonderful.

Danny and Lisa were great hosts! Me and my husband enjoyed our babymoon in this relaxing and quiet location. The views are stunning and it was nice to be surrounded by nature! The place was so clean and beautiful. We would definitely love to return for another relaxing weekend to recharge :)

Great, well-equipped condo close to plenty of activities. Michael was super responsive and made check in a breeze.

This was the best Airbnb I ever stayed in , very clean , perfect location, easy to get in , it really was Great i recommend this place to anyone comming skiing/ snowboarding for a couple days
