I gotthis as a vacation for my parents. They lived it H even brought their dog who also had a great time.

Stayed here for a getaway birthday trip with my boyfriend! We had the best time. The hot tub was so fun and the peninsula is absolutely beautiful!! Thank you jack and Erica!

Our family had a great time at Fern Way! We had 5 teen/young adults and 3 older adults in our group. The house is conveniently located close to Long Pond for swimming and boating, and within easy driving distance of Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. The kitchen is very nicely equipped with every kind of cooking utensil and pan you can imagine. The house is attractive and comfortably furnished. We’re so happy we planned our vacation there!

This was our second time staying here, my family and I love the tranquility of this little piece of heaven. Christopher’s home was beautiful, clean and well maintained.

Even though we didn't make it up to the Looney Lodge, Shelly was incredibly helpful and kind through the entire process. Reminds you there are good people still in the world! Will be back in January!

We had a great weekend off the grid. The hiking trails that connected to the property were peaceful and full of wildlife. Becka was welcoming and we had some fresh eggs and food to get us started for breakfast the next day. There were also some spices and basics for cooking so we didn’t need to take everything from home. Great time!

This was such a delightful, peaceful & beautiful place to stay. Shelby was extremely responsive & helpful. I appreciated that she went the extra mile to alert me to the Aurora Borealis & encourage me to see it from the point. When the power went out b/c of a local car accident, she kept me updated with information about cause & when power was expected to return & provided flashlights & a special battery powered lightbulb to provide light. I couldn't have asked for more!

This was hands down the best place we have ever stayed both on AirBnB and through other platforms. Mark & Kathy were so incredibly kind. The house is private with stunning water views and so clean and comfortable. The home was truly amazing. I can’t say enough about this place and the hosts. Everything was perfect and while we typically go somewhere new every travel, this has us already thinking about coming back just to enjoy it again! It’s close to Acadia though with how busy Acadia is I recommend visiting Schoodic Peninsula and the other preserves in the area. Sunset here was spectacular.

A great stay at this lovely, cozy home—yet again! Already looking forward to returning in July. You’ll find it all here: It’s quiet, with all the amenities you need (and nothing you don’t), the pretty water views, and a location that provides access to good restaurants and the beautiful Acadia National Park.

Natalia’s place was absolutely beautiful- it was a farm stay with a lot of space to explore. There were chicken everywhere and it was just magical. Our pup had a great time

I wrote this while on GCI! Enjoy! The Winds changed without a word. The Wind changed and so did the temperature down seven degrees. It had been so quiet. It had taken a little time to get used to the silence once we arrived on the island. Eventually the silence was replaced by a constant easterly wind as the September temperature reminded me that summer here was wanning. Fall begins today, right on que and even though I felt in isolation I did not feel alone, as the winds, for sure, were making sounds like peoples chatter and for a moment I had to turn my head and listen to make sense of the mystery and the wonder I've experienced through mother nature. Look here and listen. Take a moment and live in it. There is so much to gain if you can just stop and listen. F.Michael Sokasits September 22, 2024

This cabin was a wonderful place to spend the week, and I couldn’t be more happy. The hosts were communicative and friendly; offering great local recommendations. My girlfriend and I would be more than happy to stay here again!

Cute little cabin in the woods!! Super clean, check in was very easy. Nichole was very easy to communicate with. The cabin was perfect for a quick weekend. We would definitely stay again!

Worked great for our family of six. Comfortable and quiet unit. Pool and hot tub on premises were a big plus for the kids. Would be happy to return in future years.

My husband and I, and our two pups had a fantastic time in the Carriage House for a week. Part of a breathtaking private/secret compound on the water…with the most incredible private tidal pool. The place is so authentic, which is what we love about staying in ME when we can escape. We were so blessed to find Margaret’s place last minute. Margaret’s mother, Sally, and her husband were in the main Kate’s house. So so sweet they were to us and our girls. A dog paradise. We are foodies. Plenty of good restaurants around - just a few minutes to the adorable village of Stonington. Around the corner is one of the best restaurants in the country - Aragosta. We can’t wait to return…hopefully, in the Fall. A trip we will always remember. Thank you, Margaret & Family.

Three girlfriends and I stayed at Hillside for a week. The setting and location were absolutely beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful and I loved walking the trail. The house was roomy and comfortable. We highly recommend!!
