Just had a fantastic stay here - it's a beautifully presented shepherd's hut surrounded by rolling green. Host communication was great, and we found the hut to have everything we needed. The bed is comfy, the shower is great, and there is a functional kitchen. There are a couple of bbqs and a swim spa (a very large hot tub), making it easy to relax if you don't fancy going out. If you do want to go out, you can walk to local pubs or to Heale Gardens, which is lovely. I imagine most would come here by car but it is possible to train into Salisbury and get a taxi, as we did. All in all, we couldn't recommend this place enough - it's fantastic and I think we'll try and make it a yearly occurrence.

A fantastic place in a pretty, serene location where you can chill by the fire pit. The kids loved the hut and the amenities and brought them away from their devices and into the outside!

This is a perfect little place in the New Forest! It is our 4th time staying here and we love coming back. The full English breakfast made with locally sourced ingredients is to die for! We love seeing all of the animals on the farm and the forest, and our dog had a mini holiday of her own here. Amanda is an amazing host and a wonderful human being and we love listening to stories from her life and her knowledge about the forest. We hope to be back again

Exactly as advertised; very generous breakfast brought to the door of the hut by prior arrangement and at reasonable price. Bathroom hut basic but very decent shower with plenty of hot water and spotless.

The best site ever. We could enjoy unique hut with a bathtub and private space. The scenery of the hill from there was so nice. Our dog could be a good friend of sheep in the next field and excited for a wild rabbit was running through the field. Facilities are well maintained and clean, especially the wood stove inside worked well and nice. Thank you for the stay and see you again! We found a good Japanese restaurant 5 minutes drive from the site.

This was a perfect place to stay after a day on the downs. the bed was super comfy, it was great to get a hot shower and Pauline left lots of breakfast bits in the cabin.

We had such a wonderful stay at Darren & Jax’s shepherds hut! It was incredibly cosy and we settled in straight away. We made the most of the beautiful weather with a BBQ in the sunshine, and it was so lovely to see our dog free to roam and make friends with the gorgeous resident dogs. The hut had everything we needed for a relaxing break, and the peaceful setting made it even more special. We’ll definitely be booking again, highly recommend!

Magical place! The setting is so beautiful, the huts wonderfully decorated, and with every thought given to comfort. My kids LOVED the stay, especially the chill out gazebos, and the fairy woods - truly a magical place! Communication was great, and Jenny really is a perfect host. We'll definitely be back!

We had a perfect stay in Isabel’s charming & peaceful Shepherds Hut. Stunning location nestled in the new forest, with plenty of walks straight from the door. We especially recommend the walk to The Royal Oak pub for a pint and ploughman’s! Isabel was an extremely helpful, friendly & generous host. The hut is very well equipped for a short stay, and we loved sitting in bed looking out across the green paddocks. We also loved cooking outside on the BBQ in the evening sun. All in all we couldn’t have asked for more & would highly recommend!

My husband and I came to stay at the Bluebell hut after not having a weekend just us since December (now in March!) due to family life and work commitments. Anna was absolutely fantastic. So so friendly, and the hut was GORGEOUS. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub! Great place to stay, Anna was on hand all weekend with any questions🩷 Thank you Anna!

Elaine and Bruce were fantastic hosts and truly made us feel at home. We arrived and the BBQ was fully set up ready to use and the beautiful Shepherd's Hut was immaculately clean and comfortable. They were always on hand to help with any questions we had and were thoroughly welcoming and accommodating. We would certainly recommend to others!!

We had a truly magical stay at the wagon in the woods, there wasn’t a single negative to this stay. Beautiful surroundings and near by walks and the location was surreal. Couldn’t recommend more!

I took my fiance here for her 40th, and it was just what she wanted: a lovely, quiet, peaceful getaway. Even though the weather was not as good when we got there, we still managed to make it cosy with the fire and plenty of blankets. The golf buggy is really unique and my partner particularly loved it, there's also some nice touches with extra chargers and cables to use which made life easier and more relaxing as we got there The cabin is spotless and the bed is super comfortable. The decking is a good size and allowed us to sit outwith the firepit. Definitely recommend.

If you want a place to escape from everything this is the place. The hot tub was lovely, it took about two hours to warm up . Easier to find the place if you follow directions from Airbnb not google maps .

Had a lovely stay over Easter weekend for my wife’s birthday. Very cosy cabin with all the essentials. Really well located for day trips by car or by bike. A short walk to the Silver Hinde and Hare and Hounds in the village which were both great for dinner. Even though the cabin is on the farm it is tucked away with privacy. Amanda couldn’t have been more helpful and was in touch to see whether we needed more firewood for the hot tub or fire pit and offered to light the hot tub for us if we were out and about. Overall a great stay

This was a return visit ,The Hut is beautifully looked after!! the goodies that are left you are first class just like everything else!! The location for me is perfect !! great walking ,5 mins in the car and you are in Beautiful Bosham or Emsworth and by bus 15 mins Chichester The view from Hut is trees and fields !! so it is abundant in wildlife!! Very Relaxing !! I will return!!

Myself and my Husband stay here for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Victoria was there to meet us when we arrived and showed us around her amazing place. It has everything you need and also local pubs that do amazing food if you want to venture out. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Victoria :)

This was the second time we stayed at the glorious little Acorn Hut. Again we were very warmly welcomed by the family and we had a perfect stay! We will go back again!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay in Emily’s shepherds hut, with our Beagle. The village is quiet, beautiful and clean. The local pub was perfect to dinner on the day of arrival. The drive to the new forest was along picturesque country roads and super easy. We also went to Bath for the day as well during our stay and I would highly recommend! The shepherds hut has everything you could need, and Emily was super helpful when booking. We really appreciated being left to our own devices for our stay and would absolutely recommend if you’re after a relaxed, out of city experience. A magical stay, thank you Emily x

We had a lovely stay at Louise’s charming shepherd’s hut. It was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic - just a short walk to beautiful Avon Beach and literally couldn’t be closer to amenities. Louise was a welcoming and helpful host, making everything super easy. The hut is right next to a road, so if you’re a light sleeper, that might be something to consider - but otherwise, I couldn’t fault it. A perfect spot for a getaway with the sea close by!

Well appointed shepherd's hut in country setting. Perfect for a few days of retreating from the world. Comfortable, cosy & quiet inside, with seating & aperitif-size table outside. The little Everhot oven was delightful & the duck down duvet perfect for snuggling under, behind the pretty linen curtain. Plenty of off-road walking (or in my case running) routes. Village café, shop & two pubs, in easy walking distance. We found St Mary Bourne to be very well kept village, with an interesting community. Plenty of birds and other wildlife to observe. Easy check-in & good communication.
