World class trout fishing just 20 minutes away, where I caught my 10 lb., 26" one! I welcome couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. A central location to visit Tallulah Gorge, Lake Burton, Helen, Cleveland, Wineries, Waterfall hikes, and the AT. It's located in a peaceful quiet neighborhood, and has a large level private backyard, which is great for grilling, dining outside, relaxing/chilling by the fire pit.

Gathering Moss Cottage is a wonderful family getaway or 2 to 3 couples retreat on Lake Burton. 30 minutes to Helen and half the price! Great views from the screened porch while reading a book or watching the kids play in the lake. Make some great memories at this fantastic cottage. New firepit is in just off the steps leading to the lake. Kayak's are available on site as well as pontoon boat rental from your host delivered to the dock, no pu or drop off.
