My place is close to The Golden Circle and the Highlands. The place has picturesque view. You can see Hekla, Eyjafjallajökul, Langjökull through the windows of the cottage. Closed to the cottage is Skálholt church, one of Iceland´s most important historic sites. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the coziness, the kitchen, the hot tub. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Only 2 km to Health service. If you have back problems we have a soft mattress for you.

The house was built to reflect the Icelandic landscape and complement the small vegetation of moss and trees in the old lava-field. During the darkest months, can you imagine to take a shower under the Northern lights? Well that is possible! This cabin is not suitable for children and infants.

Our cozy cottage is located 30 minutes drive outside of the town Borgarnes. The cottage consist one bedroom and a sleeping loft, living room with a sleeping sofa, dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower. Oddsstaðir is perfectly located for exploring West-Iceland and the Golden circle. We offer shorter private tours on horseback. Peaceful area with a nice view.
