We had a lovely stay with our dogs at the house. Elida was a very helpful host: she offered great communication from booking the reservation to saying goodbye. Super hosts are great! We were in SC for a memorial service in Anderson for my high school friend. Because we don’t board our dogs we had to bring them with us. That is not always easy. Both my partner and I thought the house was great for that. The house isn’t exactly a lake house, but it is very close to a lovely lake w good access. We had a beautiful sunny afternoon to take our dogs to the Sadler Creek State Park, and that was wonderful also. Downtown Anderson isn’t exactly a rocking Metropolis, but it is charming and (when the restaurants are open.) there’s quite a few to choose from. We will say after a long drive we could not have had a better beer & pizza than magnetic brewery. Not sure we’ll ever have cause to be back, but if we do, I’d like to book again. The water pressure & outlets by the bed were top on list!

The home on Lake Lanier was absolutely gorgeous. The house sits right on the water with a beautiful deck and boat docking area. My family and I enjoyed the weekend we stayed very much and there was space for my aunts to come drink coffee and chat outside. It was a wonderful experience and we will most definitely stay again when we come back to visit Landrum. Also, we made great use of the Kayaks while we were there and spent many hours on the water. We will remember this trip for a long time. Please keep in mind that it is in a woodsy area so there were naturally insects and bees flying around. There was a lot of pollen on the deck and a few dead bees but it didn't take away from our experience at all.

Really enjoyed our stay. We had to reschedule due to weather issues including hurricane Helene and Frank was very accommodating. Enjoyed the local restaurants, visiting family in the area, and even caught a couple of bass off the dock. Great house which was exactly as described. Look forward to a return visit.

The house was perfect for a large party. We arrived with 5 adults and 6 children. Everyone had a space, and everyone was comfortable. We spent 85% of our time on the screened in porch. It was perfect other than some of the furniture was not exactly comfortable. Everything is there for a large party. The kids especially LOVED all of the stuffed animals in the bunk room. There were toys, games and books for the kids, and I truly appreciated that. The views are stunning! We are already planning our visit next year! Thank you for being a great host. Lauri McKell

Perfect Peaceful Nature get away for families. The lake is just down the hill with kayaks and SUP ready to be used with nice covered picnic tables. Hikes are walkable from the house. Kitchen was well stocked and we felt right at home. Micheal was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Little gem. Only weakness was the TV is a bit older and the internet bandwidth isn’t consistent. Cell service is weak up there too, so be aware of that. But if you want to truly unplug and enjoy nature, especially during the warmer months, this place is a treat. The owners have put a lot of intentionality into the place and accommodating the stay of their guests. Overall, wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Cottage. The house has been completely renovated and is beautiful! Sitting on the porch and looking at the lake was very relaxing. It is very quite in that area and we feel like we were completely alone, but the main road is just 5 mins at most. There are also kayaks to enjoy and you could fish off the dock. The house is very comfortable, as well as the beds. It was also well stocked. Vickie was very easy to work with and is very friendly. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay there anytime I am in the area.

Great stay at Connestee falls. Loved the views of the lake from the house and the great hiking trails nearby. Lake is stocked with fish and the kids had a lot of luck fishing. Hot tub has a great lake view for enjoying at night

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. We loved the pool and the grankids loved it too. The cottage was clean , comfy, and cozy. The cottage was very peaceful and private, located on a dead end road. We highly recommend a stay . Will book again.

We came to celebrate our anniversary and stayed a month. When our plans changed and we needed to come earlier, Gail did what she could to get cleaners in earlier and accommodate us. Above and beyond wonderful host. My husband and I took regular hikes around the 5 mile loop around the lake. Great workout. Kayaking was so peaceful. We loved the huge picture window and screened in porch. Gail was one of the best hosts with friendliness and responsiveness. Thanks for the retreat!

My daughter and grandson loved the place, the host was so friendly and easy to communicate with. Very responsive. The place was really cute and charming, and they loved that the host had even put up a little Christmas tree to welcome them. Wonderful stay!! Thank you so much

Absolutely loved our visit to Deerwoode Reserve. What an amazing space to unwind and enjoy the mountains! We loved everything about our stay. The directions and recommendations prior to the stay were very helpful for planning with two families. The bedrooms were perfect and we all loved the cabin feel. The girls enjoyed staying all together in the bunk room. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep. The best part of the place is the 175 acres for exploration and play. Thankful that the kids got to be kids and unplug from devices. They kayaked and explored and swang for hours! We did several of the hiking trails and had nice quiet woods to ourselves. Deerwoode Reserve is only an hour away from the Blue Ridge Parkway and close to the conveniences of Brevard’s downtown. We highly recommend it and plan to return again to make an annual trip!

We had an absolutely fantastic time. The communication with Martha was smooth and prompt. We made some last minute adjustments, bringing our dog and grandparents and Martha communicated quickly back. Upon arrival, the space was clean and comfortable. The home is well appointed and you can easily stay in and cook for the entire family if desired. The amenities for the neighborhood were top-notch, we enjoyed the pool, gym, hiking, and golf. We especially enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards available through the rental. The location was perfect, with easy drives to downtown Brevard as well as Cedar mountain. We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining and shopping options nearby. Overall, our experience was five stars. We cannot recommend Martha and their property highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay—we will definitely be back!

The large bedrooms were great, two refrigerators and stoves made cooking for a crowd easy. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed walking around it and playing in the gym. This place was perfect for our family Christmas gathering. Close to lots of great hiking and biking too!

We planned a quick last minute getaway for a short weekend before our kids go back to school. Not being familiar with the Brevard area we were greatly surprised how private this location is but how close it is to downtown Brevard. The property had lots to offer and plenty of room for us to explore and plenty of leg room outside for our kids to play. The cabin was great as well, it had everything we needed. We enjoyed it so much that we are already planning another trip and will make sure to rebook this property! Thank you for having us!

sherri’s cottage was stinking adorable. we loved it so much we checked out and then decided to check back in and stay an extra night. sherri and lisa were great hosts. responded almost immediately to any questions I had. place was clean and had everything we needed. will definitely be booking here again for our next visit. thank you sherrie and lisa.

Ginger was a lovely host, responsive and kind. She was attentive to requests and available for questions. The house is warm and inviting, the kitchen well stocked. We made s’mores in the fireplace and played games. The beds are comfortable, clean bathrooms, lots of towels! The master bathroom/closet is spacious, as is the room. Nice to have laundry available. The main living has plentiful afternoon light. Her home has a sunny front porch overlooking the lake. It’s a lovely neighborhood for walking. The dock is getting an upgrade (it’s still winter), and the cold weather froze the lake, which was beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay. This is a beautifully appointed home in a private community with so many amenities. It is an easy walk to the club house, golf, swimming and tennis/pickleball courts. We enjoyed hikes to the waterfalls. The home has plenty of space, comfortable beds, nice towels/linens and a well-equipped kitchen. The owners are extremely friendly and attentive. We hope to return and spend some more time here. Thank you for a fantastic experience.
