Very nice place! Easy to find and get in and out. It was close to Duluth which is where we spent the weekend. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of space for the six of us and two dogs. I felt it was a very good deal and will definitely rent this place again in the future.

Beautiful farm house. Host was super responsive. VERY quiet, so much that we wanted to use the noise machines in the rooms. Very warm (we visited in February and below 0 temps) and pleasantly surprised how warm it was. Bathrooms don’t have exhaust fans and would recommend bringing or adding more fans to the property for moving air at night because it was pretty warm. (Yes we turned down the heat at night)

our family had a lovely family gathering here. with grandparents, fathers, mothers, kids ranging from 9-3, uncles and aunts it was a perfect place to fit us all! plenty of amenities for our meal time and bath and bed time. the location can not be beat if your looking to enjoy all duluth has to offer! even though it was cold (march weather) we enjoyed lake superior beach right out the back door, and easily walked to canal park.

Gorgeous property! We love woods, water, & wildlife - and this location has them all! We're making a point of getting away together more as a couple, exploring new areas & places to hike/ be submerged in nature. The home is easy to access off the quiet road that leads to the property, and it's a fairly short walk through the grasses, marshes & trees to enjoy all that nature has to offer there. The creek is beautiful, and could be heard from the patio as well, this time of year! Enjoyed the sounds of owls & frogs. The neighboring roosters are fun - active during the day (though not in the very early mornings - at least not that we could hear inside.) We also had fun exploring more of the Lake Superior shoreline in this area of WI. Bring hiking shoes/ boots (especially during spring melt). It's a rather wet location - but serene, peaceful, and beautiful! Also a very private setting overall. (One home nearby, but still in the distance.) Also a very clean home! We will return!!

Super beautiful hidden gem. The porch is spectacular & the details are super fun. Chocolate on the beds were our favorite touch. We were very comfortable with 5 of us. Thanks again Mark & Susan!

Place was fantastic. We stayed 3 nights (March, 2025) with four young kids, two adults. Everything is very well communicated/clear (access, entry, garage, rules, etc) everything is known up front (kitchen items, fireplace, etc) Place is big and quiet too. Very clean, updated, cozy, and well lit (also with blackout curtains in all bedrooms) Kitchen is nice with everything you need to cook, including a grill (already had tea, keurig coffee and cups, oil, seasonings, including paper towels, zip locks, detergent, soap, etc) There is everything you need for the beach (chairs, toys, towels). Tons of games, puzzles, and books. But the best of all..... private beach, sauna, tons of firewood, garage, AND a washer/dryer. Fantastic North Shore Location (near Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls, Two Harbors, Tettegouche, etc). It's quiet, it's big, it's got everything you need, it's a great set up and we would proudly recommend this place to any of our family and friends!

Great spot near the snowmobile trails. Jim was extremely accommodating of my family during our trip. We had a great time staying here and will definitely be back!

The location was perfect for our fishing trip. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Good food at the nearby Hungry Trout bar and at the Kro Bar in Brule.

Great place to stay, private but quick drive into town. Even better than the pictures/description. I would definitely stay here again when we come back to the UP!

Viv’s place was very homey - I loved all the local art throughout the space. Had everything we needed and was clean. Easy to find even after walking from the ferry without cell service. :) On our way out, we already wanted to plan our next trip back to Madeline Island! With the location, I highly recommend bringing your car (as Viv suggested) or at least your own bikes since the rental place closes early. I’d definitely stay here again but would bring my own pillow. The ones provided were firmer than I’m used to, but my partner had no issues! Thank you, Viv!!

Our group had a blast here for a weekend of skiing! It was great to be right on the run. The wood stove was so cozy after long days of skiing. The hosts are very responsive, which was so appreciated. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

Great place to stay! Everything is exactly how it looked in the pictures. Everything you’ll want to get to is within a 20 minute drive! Very helpful hosts!!

We (couple) came to ski the Pepsi Challenge race and this unit was perfect for our needs. You are about 7 minutes from Giants Ridge and close to a grocery store and eating options. I would say for a couple this unit is a great fit. The kitchen is solid and the eating bar is the sole spot to eat so would be tight for more than 2 people.

Great spot, close to Duluth, clean unit and quiet location. Highly recommended.

The home was decorated nicely, plenty of kitchen pots, pans, and utensils to make a couple of nice meals. Very clean. Beds were comfortable! Plenty of towels and wash clothes. The bottled water in the fridge was very nice. Appreciated the flexibility of a little later check out. Would definitely stay again.

Great places for the avid outdoors people who love to spend time outside and be with nature! Be aware of all beautiful signs might fall in love with area to much 😊. Great weekend get away will do something like that again

We absolutely loved our stay! The connivence of the ski in and ski out was amazing. The rooms were a good size. Pillows comfy. We had three children with us that loved the bunk bed bedroom. The hot tub was clean and a perfect way to end the night after skiing. There is a puzzle and an arcade machine available for family fun. We would have loved to see a deck of cards or board game; but generally speaking those are items that can be brought from home. Overall, the cabin was perfect..

Nice, clean place to stay. Right on Lake Superior with beautiful views from the private balcony. We really enjoyed our stay, the place is easy to access and the game room and pool were great to unwind after exploring the North Shore.
