Walk to restaurants, a brewery, antique shops and an art gallery, or access White Mountain hiking trails or Coos mountain bike trails. The small town of Gorham caters to tourists: a dozen great restaurants, antique & gift shops, railroad museum, opera house & town common all within easy walking distance of the studio.

The home can accommodate 8 guests. There is ample parking for your trucks and trailers. Ride to Jericho Park and points north from the driveway. Within 1 hour to Sunday River, Cannon, Loon, and 25 minutes to Wildcat. Great location for a hikers basecamp. We are a short drive to numerous hiking trails.

Camp Ursus rustic and peaceful

One room cabin with all the necessities. At initial entrance, you are in the screened in porch. This offers your firewood close to carry, many cozy chairs to lounge, and a get away from the summer bugs. Camp door is locked with a coded lock. Upon entry of camp you will be met with a welcoming home like feel. The only thing you will need are drinking water and sleeping bags. Bunks are fitted with clean linens. Come! Come enjoy camp living! NOTE: outhouse for bathroom duties. :)
