Very nice house in a good location 20 or so min. outside of Richmond, VA. House was clean and exactly as described.

We booked this Airbnb for our family and pups to stay at during our wedding weekend in Charlottesville. Miranda was super accommodating and responsive. Amazing stay!

We were in town for our son's wedding and the home was perfect for bringing our family together. Everyone was able to sleep in very comfortable beds and have their own room. We spent plenty of time on the back porch with our family and the family of the bride. The scenery was beautiful, and the location was ideal. It was a home run selection, and everyone can't wait until we stay again as a family. I would have not changed a thing!

Our family of 2 adults and 5 kids had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving week. Watching the sunrises and sunsets on the lake was so peaceful and our kids loved playing outside! Private and beautiful scenery, especially with the late fall colors. We had everything we needed to cook and everyone slept great. Kids said they wished we had spent less time sightseeing and more time at the house so they could play in the backyard!

We found the cream of the crop of Charlottesville Airbnbs right here! The house is awesome! So spacious with lots of light, beautiful flooring, comfortable furniture and the best beds for a good night’s sleep, it was perfect for our family group of sisters.We loved the modern kitchen which is so well stocked and equipped! The huge shower in the master bedroom was a real hit! All enjoyed the hot water, fluffy towels and luxurious bedding and of course the pristine cleanliness of the entire house. It was a lot of fun to barbecue and enjoy the outdoor ambiance too! Rachel was immediately responsive to my texts and questions. She treated us with true kindness and Southern hospitality! With this great host, great house and superb location in Charlottesville, I truly lucked out and picked a winner that provided the settting for memories for a lifetime!! Thank you, Rachel! You are a wonderful Airbnb host and we had a fabulous time!!

We had a wonderful stay! Hosts gave clear instructions, so check in was easy. Breakfast items were available for our stay and the house was stocked with almost any toiletry you needed (or forgot). One of the few Airbnb stays where it honestly felt like you were at home!

We stayed at Spaniel Hill for a friends reunion. We had plenty of space to hang out as we caught up on each other's lives. It was quiet and the views were relaxing. I would definitely return.

Our stay here was great! Everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout the house. We had a great trip to Richmond and the Airbnb was perfect for a weekend stay.

This was a PERFECT stay for us! We were traveling from Florida to Michigan, but made a pit stop in Richmond to visit a friend. We had our 2 dogs with us and needed an easy and comfortable spot for all of us. This Airbnb was clean, had cute decor, super easy to check in with crystal clear instructions, very friendly host, and a great location for pets! The backyard where the entrance was is huge and absolutely stunning. Our doggos loved it. I also loved her coffee station setup. So essential! Thanks again for a lovely stay!

we really enjoyed the historic setting, the fantastic location near downtown activities, and wonderful historic neighborhood to walk around. the lodging was very comfortable and quiet. whenever we come back to Charlottesville, this is the place we would choose.

Great location on the downtown mall. Host was accommodating, helpful, & instructions were clear. Beautiful windows and architecturally interesting apartment. Fireplace created ambience & warmth; much appreciated during January's frigid temps. Note that it's a walk up apartment. Secure and comfy accommodations. Hope to return!

We had a great time at Tara & Mark's. It was as good as advertised and we really enjoyed the comfortable and clean space, and the beautiful surroundings outside.

Such great hosts! Their space is perfect for long stays, equipped with everything you could need. They are super responsive and were always so kind and helpful! Would love to stay again if I’m in the area.

Matt's apartment was wonderful. It's very clean, bright, good amenities and just as the photos indicate. The bed is very comfortable, too. He was very responsive, and although I didn't need any help from him during my short stay, I have no doubt he would be immediately available if I did. I had not been to Richmond before, and I was there for work purposes. The only reason I didn't give it more stars for the location is because the corner where the apartment building is located is very noisy, and since it's the corner apartment you are right there above the noise. I wasn't at the apartment much during the day so it wasn't a big deal then, but I did get woken up a couple times at night due to that. (Note: I'm a very light sleeper.) However, Matt provided ear plugs which was a nice touch - I did make use of them! You can't beat it's proximity to the convention center, state capitol, VCU hospital, and district court, so if you're in town for those purposes it's a more ideal location.

This place was WONDERFUL!!!! Clean, quiet, organized and comfortable. We had everything we needed for my husband and I to enjoy staying there in order to visit my extended family in Richmond. I was born and raised there but my left at age 23 though the rest of my family stayed in Richmond. The location at the airbnb was within walking distance of EVERYTHING!!! I would love to stay here from now on any time I am visiting family there....or even just to visit the VMFA as well as other places!

I stayed in this basement apartment for a month and a half while working downtown. The host was extremely friendly, showed me the space, communicated with me about packages and mail, and kept me informed of things to know about the house. I felt very safe in the house and the area. The linens and towels felt very new and clean, and the kitchen and bathroom were also cleanly. The bed was stiffer than I am used to, but I got used to it. There is not much natural light in the apartment since it is a basement unit, but I appreciated all of the lamps and light dimmers so that I did not have to use the overhead lighting. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this apartment to anyone.
