The walk to the beach was so quick and easy. We traveled with two kids 5 and 8 and the walk back and forth had zero complaints :). Kids loved the hot tub and the super cool shower on the first floor. The decor of the home was beautiful. The beach had a magical low tide for kids to play in and the locals were supper friendly. The house is right up on the highway so at night it’s pretty noisy. We just cranked up our white noise machines and on the second night no one noticed. Thank you for opening up your home and letting us create some more great memories.

Our stay was great! Our son is stationed there and Lynn’s place was so close to him.

Great place to stay and enjoy the Virginia Beach area! The suite was spotless and very well decorated. Nice outdoor space, and even a balcony to enjoy the sunshine. Loved the quick walk to the beach (She even had some great books available that we took advantage of)!The host was very gracious and kind and our stay was seamless . Just a helpful suggestion: it needed a few more basic items like additional hand towels/kitchen towel ( one was not enough for us three girls), and another accessible mirror for getting ready would be super helpful! Besides that, we all agreed that we would come back for sure! Thank you for a great stay!

With 180 degree water views, what could be better?! We saw birds, incredible sunrises over the bay, and enjoyed sunset in the hot tub. It’s just right for a long weekend getaway to relax and unwind!

The house is in an amazing location with lots to do and the host is very communicative and helpful.

It ought to be a collection of Such's and So's. Such a nice place and so quiet. So well decorated with taste and quality materials. Such a relaxing spot so close to the water. So so so good cookies and muffins. And last but not least, so nice people. Very lively and cheerfull Tanya, very calm, quiet and peacefull John (still amazed, 40 years later and apparently, by his wife who may still have more energy than any soldier he faced throughout his carreer . Is there any use to add we enjoyed very much being there and highly recommend the Birds nest ? Daniel

This is the perfect home base to explore charming Cape Charles! The location simply can’t be beat - one block in one direction to the beach and one block in the other to the quaint downtown area with shops and restaurants. We never used the car once while there - such a nice change of pace! The house is also so roomy and comfortable, gets beautiful light, and is well stocked with everything you might need! We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch rocking chairs and watching the world go by. Highly recommend - will definitely come back!

This home is a great place to stay! It is completely furnished with everything you need. The kitchen is completely stocked with any seasonings or coffee accessories you need. The home is wonderfully functional for larger families and kids, --lots of nooks and spaces to hang out and enjoy your vacation. My boys and I chose this rental for the kayaking, and we were not disappointed. The equipment was ready to go, and the home has it's own private slip into a beautiful calm river. This is a great home for families and friends to relax, get some time on the water, and spend time with each other. Great value.

My daughter found this gem online to book for my 65th birthday and a family get-together on the Northern Neck. We stay in Airbnb homes quite frequently all over the world and this is the loveliest home we've had the good fortune to stay in. Christine is the most gracious host and this home is special because she has made it that way for her family. It's a huge difference to stay in a vacation home that the host rents and a home that the host lives in. Christine's eye for beauty is exquisite and the home is comfortable as well as beautiful. It seldom happens that you say, "I wish the house had (fill in the blank)" and this house has it. The river is a gorgeous backdrop and there are kayaks to use. The saltwater pool is a great addition and a reason to hang at the house. And there is everything one needs to knock out a meal or if you don't want to cook, plenty of places to eat in the area. All in all, this house is a 15 out of 10!!

This is the most peaceful place I have ever been. Feels like home, on the water, with a pool! The best!

The Clark Construction team enjoyed the offsite bonding, efficiency, and great Cape Charles fishery with local guide Clint Lessard on Sho-Nuf Charters. Great time all around and plenty of fish were caught. Hoping to return next year. The Coastal Soul AirBnB was immaculate. Perfect setup for multiple people, well appointed kitchen and seating areas, and great hosts. Thankful for all involved.

Blue Belle was a fun and roomy place to spend a long weekend with our family! It’s in a great area and was easy to get anywhere you wanted to go in Cape Charles. We rented a golf cart but it wasn’t in the best of shape. That’s not Doug’s fault but that of the rental company. Therefore, we didn’t really use it as much as we would have liked. Doug was prompt in getting the washing machine repaired and it was needed. Our granddaughters enjoyed playing the ring on a string game on the back porch and walk to the beach nearby. I recommend staying here!

Charming Cape Charles getaway! I was so happy to find this gem and even more thrilled when I arrived. From the beautiful landscape of the gated community, to the southern charm of this glorious suite…I wanted for nothing. This enormous suite has all the comforts of home and the location was spectacular. The property offered not only a private beach on the bay , a community pool, a beautiful well maintained golf course, it was also a short drive to the charming town of Cape Charles. Dawn offered endless advice to her favorite restaurants, activities to do and places to see while we visited. She was just a text or call away if I needed anything. Her hospitality was beyond measure. I look forward to coming back.

Mary was a fantastic host this weekend for my brothers Bachelor Party! Property is perfect for larger gatherings with plenty of sleeping space and community areas like the beach and firepit. Would highly recommend this property for people visiting the Williamsburg VA area!

It was a quiet, peaceful place. The dogs and goats were an added bonus! Comfortable bed. The kitchen was fairly small but ok for 2. Shelli and her husband were very friendly. Would go again.

The home was easy to find and very clean. We loved the beachfront and peaceful surroundings. We've been to Gloucester before and it is a cute little place to explore and has what you need. I would definitely choose this airbnb again if in the area! Thank you for sharing!

My friends and I had a wonderful long weekend at the Deltaville Blue Cottage. The house perfectly showcased the views, fresh breezes, and natural beauty of the area. We were continually saying " the hosts thought of everything!" If you are looking to comfortably relax with friends and family (young and old) this is the place for you! this was our second time visiting after 2 years it looked fresh and clean and beautiful as our first stay the house is beautifully appointed with furnishings and all the comforts of home right down to drink shaker and hand mixer needed for me to make goodies to take to my families home nearby they also filled fridge with all sorts of goodies like eggs butter bagels juice pancake mix and strawberries just all sorts of things it really made us feel just like home can’t wait to go back again next year

Space was great for our family and larger than depicted in photos. Access to the beach was easy and stunning.

We had a wonderful stay at Claudia’s Airbnb! The location was perfect—convenient to the Waterman’s Museum, great restaurants, and lots of shops. It was also just a short drive to Fort Eustis, Newport News, and Williamsburg, which made it incredibly easy for us to attend my son’s Army Aviation graduation. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. The pictures were true to what was shown, and check-in was a breeze. Claudia was always responsive and very friendly, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
