The nocturnal canvas comes alive with a stunning display of stars and luminescent fireflies in the summer. As dawn breaks, you may spot a bear or hear the gentle whisper of the creek where my grandmother used to frolic 90 years ago. Despite being in nature, you'll have access to a hot shower, a toilet, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker.

In the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, guests are only one mile from the Appalachian Trail, and some the most beautiful hiking in the state, including Cascades Falls, are only a short drive away. Additionally, the New River, with its kayaking, canoeing, boating and tubing, is only 20 minutes away.

Cabin on the Creek

This 1 room cabin with kitchenette (2 top burner, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker) with full bath is set on Toms Creek, fifteen minutes drive from Virginia Tech and the town of Blacksburg. The space itself is private, rustic and charming even though we live just next door. We thank you for no pets, vaping or smoking inside the cabin and we are happy to share that our onsite managers, Ray and Mara, will be handling all inquiries on our behalf.

Quaint Cottage next to The Palisades Restaurant

This house was renovated to its earlier 20th century glory with 2 full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms & 2 living spaces with 2 pull-out couches and a kitchen. It has a wrap around porch and porch swing. The cottage is 100 feet from the New River and 50 feet from the N&W railroad, with the train running close by.
