Being at the center of the BEST town on the peninsula was amazing and we can't wait to share that experience with our guests. A delightful retreat in perfect DC location. Ideal for a romantic weekend for a couple or perhaps for a family with two younger children. The retreat has two very large rooms, one featuring a sumptuous King bed, glass-topped table and four upholstered chairs, the other has a library/living-room feel - with several hundred books decoratively arranged. Fall is the quiet season on Sawyer Harbor. Color comes up on both sides of the water, the boats thin out, and mornings belong to coffee on the screened sun porch. Inside: a fireplace, a kitchen guests call the best-stocked they have used, and rooms that stay warm and easy. Three bedrooms and two full baths sleep 10, though this cottage is at its best with a smaller group. Ten to fifteen minutes from Sturgeon Bay, on a quiet road where the loudest thing is a turkey crossing the yard.

It is a wonderful place to be alone and unwind, and yet a short distance to all that Northern Door County has to offer!
