Great place to stay at Tekapo with fabulous hosts by Sally and Steve, there was an issue due to bad weather but it was promptly addressed. absolutely no regrets staying here

this home was the most incredible place. wish I could give it more than 5 stars. The host has thought of everything. lots of lovely little touches. we used this house as a place for the groomsmen to get ready at prior to our wedding, photos are great because of the beautiful furniture and amenities. would 10/10 recommend

The place was clean and inviting. I had travelled with a toddler and a pregnant wife and we had a really good time. The unexpected heavy snow threw few challenges but the house had enough amenities to keep you warm and Alex was very protective to lend a helping hand to ensure we had a smooth stay. Highly recommend this place and we surely would visit back in a few years time ! Thanks

Casey was a superb and friendly host—she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The house was warm and ready when we arrived, spotless throughout, and in a great location. All the amenities were thoughtfully provided. Very good host and Airbnb—highly recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The space was immaculately clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful. Perfect location with epic views across to Mt Hutt. Would definitely book again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Our family of 7 stayed here for 3 nights and we wished we had booked for longer! It was one of our fav places to stay at on our whole trip - stunning views, comfortable rooms, super easy check in and out, clean, quiet … and one of the most well equipped kitchens for cooking anything imaginable (they even have a rice cooker and a Korean BBQ pan)! On a clear night you can go to the back of the house and see the Milky Way! Highly recommend and would come back again!

A fabulous home and each room having a bathroom was a real bonus. Very easy instructions for our stay, the home was very clean and a handy location to the shops, restaurants and lake. Highly recommend

The place is amazing with a starview balcony. The rooms are clean and cozy and the host is extremely helpful and even left us a bottle of wine with a welcome note. Felt totally at home and welcomed. Recommended!

This home is in a beautiful and serene setting. It was about 1.5h from Christchurch airport and was the perfect antidote to the craziness of flying. At night, the only thing we could hear was the breeze and the gentle rain. I’d love to stay for a week. Annie was incredibly friendly and the welcome basket with homemade granola was tops. The basket also included potato chips made from the potatoes grown on the property! The kitchen was amazingly well stocked and my kid got to try Milo for the first time.

Thanks so much, Steve. This is an absolute gem of a place, you couldn't want for more! Very cosy with the huge fireplace, every kitchen utensil you could possibly need, spacious rooms. Basically, it was perfect. Thanks for looking after my parents so well, we'll definitely be booking again! All the best, Imogen.
