Quaint fisherman’s cottage, the closest house to the beach on Beach Road! Newly renovated throughout and close to bars, restaurants, theatre, amusement arcades, Gorleston High St (>1 mile), Great Yarmouth (4 miles) and Norwich (20 miles). The Boathouse is a single story building in a contemporary design, close to the main house with a shared garden going down to the waterside of Oulton Broad. Oulton Broad, has a variety of places to eat, a museum in the park and boat trips. Carlton Marshes is a stunning nature reserve and cafe. Lowestoft has a sandy beach with several cafes on the promenade. Southwold is a picturesque coastal town, a 25 minute drive away and Beccles, a beautiful market town on the banks of the river Waveney.

Join us at The Folly your cosy woodland retreat, complete with log burner and central heating. There's plenty to see and do with access on foot to the local woodland and beach walks. Pleasurewood Hills is also only a short walk away. Keep an eye out when you boil the kettle you just might see a wild Muntjac deer pass by....or hear the hoot of an Owl as you fall asleep. Please note that during the season, you can hear Pleasurewood Hills between 9am to 5pm.

Village has 2 pubs serving food, fish and chip shop and Chinese takeaway and a local Co-op and garage.
