The Anderson House

Experience the charm of Southern Illinois in the peaceful comfort of The Anderson House, a newly renovated 2-bed, 2-bath home with roots dating back to 1932. Featuring a full kitchen, an open floor plan, and inviting outdoor spaces, The Anderson House offers a perfect retreat for relaxation or exploration. A short walk across the grounds leads to a small coffee roastery, farmland, and a state forestry park, where guests can immerse themselves in outdoor activities or enjoy a delicious coffee.

LilyPad-pondside cabin, kayaks, trail, country

Serene country stay. Great for a couple, an outdoorsman, or travelers! Includes use of pond, fishing poles, kayaks, and hiking trail. Our pet ducks roam freely about. Use of gas grill, firepit and firewood. Bow target available upon request. This cabin is located on our 20 acre property, less than 10 minutes from Rend Lake, I57 access, and public hunting land and within 1 hour of the Shawnee National Forest. Its a 12x20 studio cabin with 1 full bed and 1 twin foam couch. We don't allow pets.

Tiny Home of Whittington

This cozy tiny home is located a little over one mile off of Interstate 57 and within two miles of Rend Lake. Whether traveling through and needing an easy one night stay or a weekend getaway, this is the place for you. Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Whirlwind Farm offers country living conveniently located just minutes from town and the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds. The skyscapes are breathtaking, the surroundings are serene and the wildlife abounds at Whirlwind. A short walk through the grass brings you to your private covered patio and keyless entry. This charming suite sleeps 5 with plenty of room to relax. Whether your stay is short or extended, we hope you enjoy Whirlwind.

Come check out the Recently added Fire 🔥 pit and Patio! Come relax with the whole family at this peaceful, country setting…10 minutes from Rend Lake & 10 minutes from town. Enjoy the cozy inside or the patio outside and watch the wildlife. Cook a savory meal in the kitchen or grill those yummy steaks or burgers on the grill outside... Suitable for families or a romantic getaway. The outside of property is a work in progress, but we’ll usable. Excuse the reconstruction!

Black Bear Cabin, Game Room and Boat Parking

Come stay at Black Bear Cabin located just 10 miles from Rend Lake and just minutes from Benton County Club. We have covered parking for your boats and cars. With plenty of room for the family and lot of room for parking. We have Lots of things to do at the cabin. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. We allow a dog for a fee of$40 per stay. If a pet is brought on the property without paying the fee an additional $100 will be added to your stay.

Rend Lake Retreat

Come enjoy your own space, private pool in summer, fire pit for fall & winter, country views, less than a mile from the lake marina and nearby year-round activities. Plenty of parking spaces! What makes this place special is comfy beds and the gathering potential to have everyone under one roof while being next to something for everyone: kayaking, beaches, boat ramps, parks, hiking, wildlife photography, hunting, fishing, golf, Du Quoin rodeo, and plenty of food options.

"Quiet And Secluded Country Setting" BIG OAKS

We have a 2000 sq. ft. home located on 3 acres in a very country setting. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, master bed room has queen size bed, second bedroom has full size bed and third bedroom has 2 twin beds. Large master bath with large soaking tub and shower. Spacious kitchen is set up to cook if you like, . The back porch over looks the woods and fields with lots of deer siting. Our location is very quit and peaceful. also there is a garage you have access to.

Fishing, hunting, & lake life in a semi-rural area, This is the perfect setting, offering 3 bedrooms, sunroom, & outdoor living space in a country setting. Rend Lake is perfect for water sports, hunting & fishing, or a beautiful hike! We are 5 minutes from Benton, 10 min from Rend Lake, 30 min from an urban area, & 1 hr from Wine Trails. In addition, Hill House has a covered barn that will hold two boats with electricity to charge batteries!

Tuffy's Barn

A cozy get away in a quiet setting overlooking a pond bank and woods only 5 minutes away from our Main Street which will soon be beaitifully decorated for Christmas! We are only 31 minutes away from Garden of the Gods located in the Shawnee National Forrest as well as Giant City State Park. Also only 25 minutes away from beautiful Rend Lake -and we have space to park your boat! ...or you can just sit out in the back yard and relax.

Grandma’s House

Your home away from home back home. You’ll be right down the street from your parents, the football game, your Uncle’s deer stand, & just minutes from Dixie Cream Donuts for some quick nostalgia. Two full beds, one bath with a walk-in shower, & large living room windows so you can gaze out at the streets you grew up on over your morning coffee. Grandma Sharon loved having company, & we are happy to have you too.

Black Dog Cabins at Rend Lake / Zeus's Retreat

Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place. We are 1/2 mile from beautiful Rend Lake and the closest boat ramp and walking/biking trails. The marina and beach are only a few miles away. We have plenty of room to park your boat and even have power hook up for overnight charging. We have a General Store on the premises that offers kayak rentals. We have everything you need for a relaxing get away.
