Welcome to the Trailside Gökotta Forest Cottage: a modern, minimalist and serene nature cabin on the Birkie Trail system. Gökotta means 'to get up early to listen to sounds of birds and the forest'. Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

Hidden Bay: Modern. Wild. Clean. Sunset Views.

Hidden Bay is aptly named as it is nestled in a water lily-filled bay with a beautiful west-facing island view. It feels private without being completely secluded. The cabin itself is small & manageable and the cathedral ceiling, open floor plan, & numerous windows give it a light, open feel. My family originally stayed at Hidden Bay as renters and we liked it so much we bought it & kept the name! Central air. 2 BR, one bath, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, gas grill. 2 full bedrooms each with a queen size bed. 2 fold out futons in living room. Fire pit and firewood. 1/2 mile from UTV, snowmobile and hiking. Cocktail lounge on the lake. 2 restaurants nearby. No smoking/ pets. Newly remodeled guest house with bar, TV, futon.

Seeley Oaks A-Frame | Secluded Retreat on 40 Acres

This is a cabin-in-the-woods experience! The Seeley Oaks A-Frame is our slice of the peaceful Northwoods experience. It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. It's small - intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. Just bring your food we have the rest. If not, there are 7 restaurants (bar scene to gourmet) within 13 miles.

Built as a winter or summer escape for a couple or small group, this beautiful four season cabin is a great way to experience the Northwoods of Wisconsin in a modern, well-appointed, aesthetically rich space designed with relaxation in mind. Cabin is brand new as of January 2024. Host is 14 year "superhost" This is a default "no pets" cabin, however certain sizes and breeds are allowed by permission only. In the summer we have kayaks and in the winter we are less than a mile from Trail 8 and 8a. There are 7 restaurants within 13 miles, thousands of acres of water, millions of acres of woodlands, XC trails galore, 10 waterfalls in Iron Co, 7 ski hills within 90 minutes, or curl up in the newly remodeled cabin and unwind.

Oxbo Resort - Cabin 1

Cozy up in an authentic log cabin at the Oxbo Resort! Cabin 1 is a sizeable one room cabin efficiency with a separate bathroom addition. The Oxbo bar/restaurant is located a hop, skip, and jump down the road and has a great food & full bar. The Oxbo Resort is located on the shores of the Flambeau River in the heart of the Flambeau River State Forest, is adjacent to Sawyer County ATV and sled trail #36, and is within walking distance to state game lands Checkin after 3pm!

River Cabin

Built in 2022/2023 this cabin is located right on the Manitowish River with 750 ft of frontage right off Highway 51 about 3 miles south of Mercer and 7 miles north of Manitowish Waters. The Manitowish River runs into the Bear River which is why the resort is named Twin Rivers Resort. We are located right by the snowmobile, UTV/ATV and hiking/biking trails. You can easily visit small local towns with bars, restaurants and shopping.
