I really enjoyed our stay here. It’s really close to town. The house is comfortable and we felt right at home. She has small things like makeup towels, sharp knives, and nice pots. I also really appreciate the quality and scents of the cleaning products and toiletries. It’s beautifully decorated and the yard is big enough for a dog or your children to run around. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Linda’s place is the perfect blend of an older Victorian feel and more modern kitchen, floors, A/C if needed. It’s incredibly peaceful with numerous sitting areas to read a book, enjoy a cup of coffee, have a chat about life, or indulge in a glass of wine and appetizers. Always something new on the expansive garden that you didn’t notice before. Just a wonderful little getaway…and friendly neighbors while out walking the neighborhood, which all just adds to a really special place. Thank you Linda and we hope to be back!!!!

I stayed with my family while driving back to Seattle. As soon as we went in we all felt at home. My two boys enjoyed going straight to the double twin beds room and relaxed. It was very clean and with a nice back yard. I definitely recommend and very family friendly.

Judy was quick to respond which made the last minute change in reservations easy! No problem with any! The place was very clean and beautifully decorated.

this home is truly an escape. the minimalist and modern decor feel soothing and peaceful. we loved waking up with the sunlight filtering through the beautiful trees surrounding the home. we appreciated how clean and welcoming the place felt. we were just traveling through and didn't get to explore the area but just enjoying the restful home makes us want to go back.

Great location for exploring Grass Valley, easy walking distance to restaurants, theaters, and downtown. Very nice inside remodel, great place to relax and enjoy friends.

Kara’s house was actually really nice inside. The location was not in the best neighborhood. Surrounding houses were run down with jun and garbage all in the yards. There’s a little house in the back with people living in it. So although was entire house it felt like the guest house.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is clean and has nice accomodations and games for families. The host is very responsive and helpful as well.

Great stay. Super convenient to my required location and a much better choice than a local hotel. Quiet, day and night. Walkable. Felt very secure due to the established neighborhood. 👌🏼

We didn’t have an AWD vehicle so we couldn’t make it up the hill, so we did park at the bottom- which was a little difficult. Had to make a couple trips and it is a decent walk especially in the rain and mud. Just make sure you are prepared for a walk or bring a vehicle that can handle big ruts and really muddy roads! (Not the hosts fault by any means and they clearly state that you need an AWD car in details!) The outdoor bathtub was frickin amazing! I felt like I was at a spa retreat. We loved this cozy cabin. Bed was comfy, things were clean, and everything was straightforward and easy to use. Kitchen had a rather miscellaneous selection of utensils and such so I’d suggest keeping it simple for meals. We went on a short walk around the property and came back with quite a few ticks. So that was not fun, but also not anyone’s fault. All in all- would absolutely 10/10 recommend staying here! I wish I could live there!

Amazing stay at the Oasis. Everything was clean and the house had everything for a great stay. We had a special party for our son and the open family room and huge kitchen island and seating was great. As well as the outdoor spaces offering comfortable seating.

My family really enjoyed staying at Sam’s place - the pool was perfect, the house was super clean and comfortable, Sam was responsive with answers to our questions, the beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were spotless. The open space right next to the house was a highlight for taking morning walks.

Gorgeous private hidden oasis, stunning heated pool with waterfall, amazing main house, and an incredible pool house all under a canopy of trees. Such a tranquil and wonderful experience. Located seconds from historic downtown Folsom and in a gem of a historic neighborhood. Was able to bring my dogs and my husband and I chose to solely retreat to the fabulous pool house. We had smart cooling / heating, 1 large bathroom with bath tub shower, a half bath in the living room with a gigantic smart tv, a beautiful large dining table with chairs and a bench, a wonderful kitchen with an island, two large balconies, and a gigantic king bed with wood bed frame, also a washer and dryer. The main house was just as phenomenal and bigger, however we chose to stay in the pool house because it was more intimate and cozy for just me, my husband, and dogs. Douglas was an outstanding host and the property is an absolute treasure. I will come back again and will add to my secret list of Airbnbs.

This listing is beautiful, spacious, and perfect for a large family. The heated hot tub at night was perfect after a long day and was a great plus. We definitely had everything we needed and more. We would stay here again 100%

In most things, getting the details right, is difficult. Sarah knocked it out of the park. This place is so thoughtfully put together. From the well appointed kitchen, to the great bedding, and the clear instructions, this place was so welcoming and comfortable. The location is very private and peaceful. We enjoyed using this place as a base to do daily excursions to some great snowy places for snowshoeing. We said, multiple times this weekend to each other, “I love this place and we should come back here soon!”.

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The home was everything described in the listing and even better. The kitchen was very nice, the living room was cozy, and the back patio leading to the backyard was a great space to relax. The grill worked perfectly, which was a great bonus. I also appreciated having access to the garage, and being provided with two garage openers made things super convenient. The house was well taken care of, the neighborhood was peaceful with friendly neighbors, and the host’s communication was excellent. Everything about this stay was perfect, and I would absolutely come back again!

This house is perfect for one or two people and a great long term option. My week-long stay was perfect. Working remotely, I enjoyed the dedicated work space. I also appreciated the well appointed kitchen and the amazing bathroom, full of amenities, which you have to see to believe. The loft bedroom is accessible via a narrow winding staircase, which was a little scary for me, but totally worth it because the bed was a dream. Great communication and lots of extras. Would 10/10 recommend

Thank you Suz for the great stay! The location was cozy, dog friendly, and in a great location for visiting family in Folsom. Suz went out of her way to decorate for the holidays for guests and was friendly and proactive. We appreciated the large dining table, games, and amenities.

The Hart House was a perfect place to celebrate our two friend's getting married. The house was beautiful, inside and out! The meadow and the pond were such a nice place to unwind and relax from our busy city jobs. We picked some herbs from the garden for our meals and enjoyed the fire pit at night. The beds were cozy and kitchen had everything we needed. Would recommend this amazing stay to anyone looking to house a group of nature lovers!

Amazing, peaceful and quiet. Waking up to see the pond was the best part of the trip. My family and I will be coming back when it gets warmer so we can enjoy the pond more.

Sam was very communicative and it was very easy to find with their instructions. Plenty of parking on the street in March. This room was exactly what was advertised - it's a very simple room and we appreciated the way it was priced in order to enjoy Nevada City without breaking the bank. There is a kitchenette that also helped with breakfasts and dinners in the room. Expect the basic amenities to make a meal. It is a fine place to end of the day after adventures. Easy to get to downtown Nevada City and to Grass Valley. My Mom is in her 70's and just know that the stairs and walk are a little steep , just something to note if you have older folks with knee or hip issues in the party. And as noted the ceilings are low. The wall heater keeps everything toasty and Sam gives instructions ahead of time on how to use it. Just keep it started at .5 and then go up to 1, then 2, etc. Overall, we had a great time without breaking the bank and it was easy to stay and to get around town.
