We enjoyed staying in this beach house, infact 1 night is not enough. Our kids really enjoyed the spa pooL while adults enjoyed the spectacular view during sunset and nothing compared while watching the sun rises as well. Host is responsive and friendly, and one thing i really commended is the property manager who came around past 10pm to help us unlock one of the room who accidentally lock while our friend is outside the room. He was really friendly and happy to come and help us.

A magical spot in Northland, the perfect place to get away and spend some quality time with loved ones. Thank you John, we all loved our time at your special piece of paradise.

This place was perfect for our family. My dog Frankie was able to travel with us and the house had the most amazing views of the bay. Really quirky and stylish great art and lots of books to read. Close walk down the hill to Opua general store which makes a great coffee and easy access to an ocean swim. Everything was very comfortable. I’d definitely stay again. Compared to other places in the area I think this is really good value.

We had a fantastic stay at Henipapa. The location is unbeatable - 2 min walk into the town but felt private and quiet and with the most incredible views. The house itself is light-filled and airy, and is well kitted out and super comfortable. The main bedrooms were lovely and the bunk room perfect for our teens - privacy for them and peace and quiet for us! The living area and deck are great spaces for enjoying the wonderful views (with fab bean bags for a movie night). Overall, the perfect place for our stay. We loved long beach, and followed James’s recommendations for brekkie and dinner (esp enjoying Hone’s pizza place). Fish and chips on the house deck were another highlight. James was also super flexible about check out time and little details like provision of beach towels and games were also greatly appreciated.

Extremely comfortable and well furnished home. Fantastic view of the ocean and islands. Great ambience. Comfortable beds and everything we needed and more for our stay. Easy short drive to Russell and all its amenities. Highly recommended. Excellent communication from Kelly with lots of recommendations for local attractions.

What a hidden gem! Beautiful surrounds and walks (even "exciting and hopeful" kiwi spotting and glow worms in the evening) and an immaculately presented room. Pete and Rose have gone above and beyond to make this an amazing stay. Thank you so much.

A modular bach with lots of separate rooms, older but has everything you need. Right across the road from the beach on a quiet street at Hihi. Easy care, extra hot in the sun, lots of comfort. Excellent communication from a great host.

We had a lovely time at Birdsong and everything provided for our stay was great and delicious. We loved the garden outlook and the bbq amenities. It is a well established and well maintained property, the gardens are beautiful and everything was sparkling clean and we immediately felt relaxed and welcomed by Anna
