2nd time back to this slice of heaven. We love the home. We love the surroundings. For us it’s a reset as we enter spring. Home Is roomy and we adore the dining area with all of the plants. We have a large family, kitchen has all the right things you need to prepare meals and there is plenty of space inside and out. The Hot tub was WONDERFUL and a fantastic bonus!

The enchanting town of Chesapeake city washes over your starting with check in at the pearl. Watching and tracking ships through the channel or finding the best locals night and party marina vibe added to the experience. Lovely walks and runs in the area Thank you

The house was perfect. Clean, neat and comfortable. So beautifully situated at the lake. The outside was wonderful. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking. A great stay!

Dorothy's place was a literal dream! We walked in to a very clean home full of amenities, beautiful furniture, and a welcoming energy. Our group was staying here to attend a wedding for one of our high school friends and it proved to be the perfect place to stay for our groups size. We enjoyed the hot-tub and outdoor area as well! I cannot recommend this place enough!

Our family had a great stay! We all loved the space, both indoors and out. And we loved experiencing multiple things to do in the surrounding area.

I recently just spent one month at Edward’s place and loved every minute of it. As other reviewers have noted, the layout is a little nontraditional, as you enter through a small sunroom and then go directly into the bedroom, then the living room/kitchen with the bathroom at the back. The kitchen was stocked with basic pots/pans, glassware, and dishes. The real gem of this listing is it’s location- it was next to a large park with many adorable dogs, the main strip of Chestnut Hill 2 min walk, a market, a playground, and easy parking around the vicinity. It offered a great home base to explore Philadelphia with good access to bus lines and the train if you did not have a car. Additionally, since I was at this spot for an entire month I needed additional supplies (ie mop) which Edward promptly ordered to the house. I look forward to returning to this spot next time work brings me to Philly!

The property was very nice and clean when we arrived! We were able to check in early, which was awesome for us. They were very responsive, usually within 10 minutes, I would have the answer to my question. We would stay here again and I’d recommend it to anyone.

We really enjoyed our one night getaway. The Carriage House was small, cozy with a comfy bed. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by made it the perfect location.

We had our girls weekend here and loved the location. Close to all the downtown shops and cute coffee shops! Loved this location and are looking at booking again in the future.
