Our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first time. A home away from home! The cottage is lovely, cosy, and clean with plenty of space as a family of 6 and a dog. Giles was really helpful and we loved all the local recommendations and walks. The location is perfect. Can’t wait to return next year!

Fred's place is wonderful, a true gem! We felt at home for our stay, and the dogs were very welcome companions. 100% recommend a stay here 😊

Nous avons passé un merveilleux week-end de trois jours à la campagne. L’endroit est calme, reposant et entouré d’un cadre magnifique. Accepte les chiens, bien clôturé. Le logement était parfait, avec tout ce qu’il faut pour nous sentir chez nous. Une expérience très agréable, nous recommandons vivement cet endroit pour une escapade en pleine nature ! Lovely place for a family holiday or a stay with friends. A nice kitchen, great dining room and cosy living room. Grand playroom for the kids and horses to feed in the fields. A great experience!

nous avons été reçus par un couple charmant et plein de bonnes intentions. l'arrivée est flexible, facile à trouver avec la possibilité de stationner le véhicule devant le logement. le trullo se trouve dans une ferme où vous pouvez voir, poules, poussins, moutons, agneaux, canards,cochons, chien, chat et même un couple de paon. le trullo est bien aménagé et isolé. une salle d'eau avec wc. une chambre avec des volets aux fenêtres et une literie confortable. le wifi fonctionne très bien. nous avions au réfrigérateur des oeufs frais, du lait, de l'eau, des jus de fruits, des yaourts, du fromage, des fèves et salade du jardin. je ne peux que recommander ce logement est encore remercier ce couple pour leur gentillesse et leur générosité.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse in the Lake District. The place was immaculately tidy, with a very well-catered kitchen that had everything we needed—perfect for cooking up a proper Easter Sunday roast, which we were lucky enough to enjoy outside in the garden thanks to some glorious spring sunshine. The wood burner made the evenings extra cosy, and the peaceful, beautiful surroundings made for a truly relaxing break. Diana was excellent—friendly, helpful, and very responsive. highly recommended!

We had such a lovely stay at Pam’s beautiful cottage. Everything you could ask for - home from home. Very peaceful surroundings and we really enjoyed the view looking out onto horses. Perfect location for the exploring the surrounding areas. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area again.

Wat een fantastisch verblijf. Ik was hier rond de jaarwisseling, en de ruimte was ontzettend knus en sfeervol. Kleine lampjes, kaarsen en natuurlijk de houtkachel! Ik ging hierheen voor de stilte, en stil was het. Ik heb nauwelijks vuurwerk gehoord. Heerlijk! Linda en Sjoerd zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik kom graag terug!

We absolutely loved our stay. The home is beautiful and Nanna is so friendly. She left some food in the house to feed the chickens and sheep. Getting to hold the newborn lambs was a lovely perk. It felt like we were staying at a friend's house.

We had a lovely stay for a few nights. It wasn't great weather, so the little games room on site was very useful to entertain the kids. Great, quiet, countryside location but not too far from pubs etc. The barn had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

Really great stat at Windmill Farm. Our two boys (5 and 3) loved seeing the chickens each morning and having the farm park so close by was great. They could have spent hours in the excellent soft play barn - and we didn't even get round to all the activities available on the farm. Cabin was lovely, and Stacey and Stephen were really helpful. A great place to stay with two young kids!

Great place to stay, with much to see and do in and around. We came to give our grandson a Castle experience, and covered five in two days plus a river trip...We were blessed with fabulous weather and He had a blast! Everything in the accommodation was well thought out and comfortable, with rapid response to any questions. Very happy to recommend. Thank you Charlie.

So chuffed we found this place! As a group of 7 girls we had plenty of room, great location for nearby walks and easy access to eat/drink out. The novelty of the animals around the house was really fun and the house itself was lovely. Very comfy, had everything we needed and the luxury of the hot tub was an added plus. Julia was really great with all the information prior to arrival and the gentleman who look after the animals were super friendly. Would love to go back and would highly recommend.

We had a lovely and very comfortable stay of 3 nights. I wish we could have stayed longer. It was really enjoyable spending time in such a spacious, tranquille space, in excellent condition, thoughtfully decorated, so well furnished and equipped, and needless to say spotlessly clean. It was a fantastic first experience also for my son to feed the checking, and collect and eat their eggs. Thank you for welcoming us.

Down to the smallest detail Tracy took care of us including giving us a tour on arrival and check in and included a number of bits and pieces so we didn’t have to head out to the shops. Very responsive and kind, would 100% recommend

Lovely peaceful stay at this beautiful little shepards hut, small but perfectly formed. Wood fired hot tub was amazing and the bed comfy. Amazing views of the countryside and just sit and listen to the sheep and the birds. Ruth is a lovely host, fully recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Carmel’s place and would’ve love to spend more time there - an idyllic escape in the countryside with stunning views and only a few minutes drive from Westport town. Thanks so much Carmel and Tommy!

Lovely private and quiet stay in Connemara. Terry is a lovely host. Generous and responsive. If you have your own transport this is a perfect place to stay if you enjoy peace and quiet and having your own little apartment.

Wir waren überrascht statt eine kleine Wohnung, ein ganzes Haus für uns zu haben! Die Familie Heen hat uns sehr nett empfangen und wir haben die Lage auf dem Hof genossen!

Cudowne miejsce na totalne oderwanie się od codzienności! Domek przytulny, dobrze wyposażony, a największym hitem był basen i… zwierzęta! Na powitanie przydreptał osiołek, obok przechadzało się emu, a po ogrodzie skakała malutka owieczka – totalna sielanka! Barany i alpaki towarzyszyły nam podczas porannej kawy, jakby były częścią ekipy. Do tego piękny widok na las, który uspokaja samym patrzeniem. Nasza córeczka była zachwycona placem zabaw, a my doceniliśmy ciszę, naturę i wyjątkową atmosferę tego miejsca. A gospodarze? Jan i Michaela to wspaniali ludzie – pomocni, serdeczni i pełni pasji. Widać, że tworzą to miejsce z sercem. Idealne na romantyczny wypad, rodzinny weekend czy po prostu naładowanie baterii. Na pewno wrócimy

The property was beautiful and the setting is idyllic. We had everything we could need and it was lovely that Andrea and Sally allowed my 3 dogs as many others only allow 2. We will definitely be booking a return visit !

Fantastic !!! Booked this home as part of my wifes 70th birthday celebrations for 6 adults and 3 grandchildren aged 3,6 & 9. Tracy met us on arrival to show us around this wonderful house and pass on everything we needed to know. The house in real life is better than the photos. It is so spacious and as my granddaughter said Tracy has thought of everything there is so much for us to do. Tracy also left us a lovely home made cake. The kitchen was a great communal place with a 10 seater table overlooking the amazing outdoor space via two sets of patio doors. A great way to start the day. All rooms were a good size. Outdoors there is a beautiful large garden with a trampoline for the kids, a gas bbq for the adults a barn with a table tennis table and a host of toys and ride on vehicles for the little ones. Go through the gap at the end of the garden to the very popular tree house Nobody wanted to leave after a fantastic couple of days. This is a great house.

We really enjoyed our Easter week stay at the The Long Stable. Andrew and his wife were very welcoming and supportive hosts. The location is idyllic, very quiet and private, even if other farm buildings are nearby you won‘t be disturbed and can make the most of the huge terrace. The cottage is very tastefully furnished and everything is to a high standard. All mod cons are available and the kitchen is fully equipped so wie could enjoy cooking ourselves as well as trying out some of the many pubs and restaurants within easy reach by car. You can stroll around the farm or nearby woods at your leisure, we particulary enjoyed saying hello to the newborn lambs one of which we were allowed to feed as well. The farm is ideally located to visit the coast (recommending Rye Harbour Nature Reserve), National Trust Sites like Sissinghurst or Bateman or simply enjoy the countryside…you really are spoilt for choice. We highly recommend The Long Stable and would love to return for a longer stay.

Wir haben den Hof von Johanna und Rikard auf Anhieb gefunden. Rikard hat uns dann etwas geholfen, dass richtige Haus zu finden :-) Sehr schöner Hof, ruhig gelegen, viel Natur außen rum. Das kleine Haus bietet alles was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Wir haben uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider waren wir nur auf der Durchreise, für eine Nacht, dort. Sollten wir wieder mal in der Gegend sein, kommen wir sehr gerne zurück :-)
