I had a great time with my mother. The place was easy to find, we enjoyed our stay and the view is absolutely amazing. I am a Durbanite, but I haven’t lived home in over 12 years so it was nice to take out my mom for her 64th birthday and enjoy this lovely home as our vacation home. It was sad to leave and I wish I booked more days, we will be returning on another family vacation.

Our stay at the beach house was absolutely magical! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by an incredible team Khati and Mak who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Their professionalism and warmth truly stood out. The homeowner is an absolute delight—cheerful, kind, and always ready to help. The house itself is a stunning gem, offering a perfect blend of comfort and charm. But the highlight? The breathtaking view that greets you every day. We were even lucky enough to see dolphins swimming by—it was like something out of a dream! This place is a true slice of paradise. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

Michele’s place was a little hidden haven on the beach. It was absolutely fabulous. The house is exactly as described the beach access is perfect. 8 of us were there and did not want to leave. Zandile is absolute wonderful she made our stay even better! Highly recommend

I don't know where to begin - views from every window, be it the sea or the beautiful city. A plethora of eateries for every palette, from high end restaurants to quick takeaway options. Shopping convenience from grocery stores to standard retail. All of this in walking distance. An example is popping out for sunscreen at Dischem, from out your door to back is literally 8 mins. And to top it all access to all the normal hotel amenities, such as room service which you can pay for on delivery. We did last minute champagne and a cheese platter 10pm at night overlooking the gorgeous city lights and the ocean. And let's not forget the slightly heated pool making a cool down plunge without having worry about icy water such a comfort. Spoils in abundance! The whole Pearls experience combined with the vibe of Umhlanga is the closest you'll ever get to Miani on an African coastline. Thank you Keith and Magesh for the breathtaking experience. It was simply unforgettable!

great location, clean and well serviced, very secure with boom gate security and entrance staff. there are some items that need maintenance in the apartment, like ligh bulbs, light switches etc.. but didn't impact us much. recomend it for an Umhlanga stay.

Pictures dont do the place justice. A lovely place. Easy access to the beach, 15min walk to oceans mall and tons of restaurant's. Two tvs. No complaints

What a beautiful spot! From the moment you arrive you feel as though you can exhale. Stunning place, beautiful furniture linen and every amenity. Special touches like great coffee, milk in the fridge and just all round welcoming space. Oh but the views of the ocean!! Wow! Literally a few steps away with direct beach access and access to the promenade with its host of beautiful restaurants and close proximity to shopping etc. You can’t get better value for money in such a beautiful space and location than this spot in Umhlanga! Oh and the host was the cherry on top. Warm, helpful, responsive. I will be booking again! That’s for sure. 🔥🔥🔥

Nivesh is an excellent, friendly, helpful, and accommodating host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, located right on the beach, where we could experience the ocean at all time. The apartment has everything one needs for a self-catering breakaway.

Amazing location and awesome views right on the beach, within easy walking distance of local restaurants, modern up to date accommodation and all necessary equipment on hand. We had clear check in instructions and Travis, our host was responsive to any questions we had. Complimentary clean was really appreciated and we would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. Thank you for our stay.

We had a very nice stay in the flat. It is perfectly located next to the beach and not far from the shops. There is everything we need in the flat. It was very clean and the house keeper is doing a good job. We didn't see Shelley during our stay but she was very quick to answer to any of our queries by email. thank you very much. We'll definitely come back !

The house is located in a small community which creates exclusivity. The house layout inside encourages interaction, open plan without overstretching. The oceans views and the patio are amazing for chilling as a family and having a braai. The bedrooms are spacious, neat and functional. The host was more than happy to assist and was readily available when needed. She communicated proactively and very well. We will definitely go back

we had the most amazing holiday, I have fallen in love with Umdloti. The beach water was lovely and warm, the weather was just perfect and everywhere was so easy to get to. The apartment was just perfect, the views in the morning was to die for. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us, we loved it.

I had such a wonderful stay here—one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. The apartment is exactly as described (if not better): tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, and full of thoughtful touches that really elevate the stay. A bottle of wine and a selection of Nespresso pods were waiting for me on arrival, which was such a lovely welcome after a long journey. The location is peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful sea view that you can enjoy right from the upstairs lounge It felt like the perfect retreat, yet it’s still just a short drive to shops, restaurants and the beach is opposite! The hosts were brilliant—friendly, responsive, and clearly take great pride in making guests feel at home. Everything has been done to a really high standard, from the linens to the kitchen equipment to the little design details. It’s the kind of place where you instantly relax and know you’re in good hands. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Lyn is nothing but an exceptional and friendly, attentive host. She was very accommodating and made it so easy to chat to her about a few personal hiccups we experienced before arriving at her place. The place was as per the pictures and as described by host. It had beautiful views and was close to most places. The only issue was that we had to wait for the cleaning team to finish and couldn’t check in on time.
