Our stay at Ingrid's was wonderful! We cooked all of our meals, and it helped that the place was well stocked with a huge fridge, and tons of counter space. It was the perfect driving distance between Gibsons and Sechelt, and we got lucky with the weather! It was quiet at night, and we felt very safe. The master bathroom was stunning, the soaking tub was great, the beds were comfortable and soft, the fire pit on the deck was cozy, the place was spotless and their sound system was great. Ingrid was a very helpful and responsive host, and the place was even more stunning than I could have imagined. We had the perfect weekend away! We can't wait to visit again soon.

Enjoyed our stay at this duplex. It was very comfortable, quiet and everything seemed to be in good working order. Kitchen was well equipped for us. They had a cute back yard. It was perfect for us as it was close to our friend’s place. A few blocks away is a nice nature walk along the river.

Jennifer's house was perfect for us! The house is really cozy, beautiful outdoor spaces, quiet neighborhood with a lovely view of the mountains from the back deck. We especially appreciated that the kitchen was replete with good cookware! Jennifer was was very responsive and communicated really well. I'd highly recommend her home to anybody considering a visit to this lovely part of the island

We had a lovely little weekend getaway at Ramona’s place! We were so impressed by the design and ambiance of the unit, it literally had everything you could possibly need and felt very peaceful and cozy. Ramona was easy to coordinate with and we couldn’t recommend her place more!

We had a wonderful stay at Christi's Suite and Carriage Home. It looked exactly like the photos and had such a cozy feel, with thoughtful touches throughout the place. The view was stunning, and even with the rain, the patio was a lovely spot for morning coffee. Great location - walking distance from the village. Thanks for a great stay-we’d definitely love to come back!

We loved staying at Dave’s Central location perfect for Nanaimo adventures, and super close to the ferry We’d love to get back some day!

Lauren’s house was spacious, comfortable and clean, and made a great base for a ski trip for our family of four.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Airbnb on Vancouver Island! The view was absolutely breathtaking, and getting to see the alpacas up close was such a unique and special experience. The house itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable — perfect for relaxing and taking in the peaceful surroundings. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Tanya's place is an amazing find! Great starting point for all the must-see N. Cowichan spots. View of the lake is very nice from the hot tub :) Clean amenities all around and more spacious than it looks. Quiet neighbourhood and you may catch a glimpse of little quail running around the gardens.

It was a very pleasant stay. Woke up to dear roaming around, super cool. Michelle is very responsive and the home is super cozy!

Haven’t really stayed in many airbandb’s but this was bright and cheery and spotlessly clean. Easy walk to great restaurants and our own parking spot right out our door. .

Sue was such an obliging host, she made special arrangement so I could utilize my time in the area to the maximum. I had a busy day in the area for other events and would have loved to have been able to enjoy the premises more than I was able. I would have no problem returning there possibly with better weather (it rained the whole time).

Randy and Barb’s home was absolutely perfect. The condo is beautifully decorated and it’s even more lovely than the photos. The view is unmatched. We watched the tide come in and out each day. The peaceful water views are a dream. We usually visit Florida each year and this year we wanted to stay in Canada. My family had a fabulous time and we can’t wait to come back. Our three year old loved the playground and the kids hot tub that had a slide! Endless fun. The resort has a delicious restaurant, a spa, trails and kayaks. Everyone was so friendly. Our stay at the Strand was simply magical and will hold a very special place in our memories for many years to come. Every attention to detail in all the furnishings, kitchen/bathroom amenities and local recommendations were so thoughtful and made this magical place feel like home, a very warm, peaceful and relaxing home! The beautiful photos from this listing were what attracted us to this booking but the reality was even far more breathtaking, stunning and exceeded all our expectations. We’ve stayed at many Airbnbs around the world and the Strand has to be one of, if not the, BEST one we’ve ever stayed at.
