A wonderful spot from which to explore the rugged Northumbrian coastline, idyllic countryside and magnificent, enchanted castles. Wildhope View is a cosy, romantic retreat with spectacular views of the rolling hills of the Aln valley and the, “18 arches” viaduct built in 1849 by Robert Stephenson.

Situated in a quiet courtyard in the centre of the picturesque village of Embleton on the North Northumberland Coast. Poppy Cottage sleeps 4 plus cot in two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both bedrooms are upstairs. Family bathroom with bath and over bath shower, the bathroom has underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. Downstairs there is an open plan sitting room, kitchen and dining room. Small enclosed gated patio/garden to the front of the property.

A beautiful, modern and tastefully converted stone barn retaining much of its original character and charm. The Stable is one of 3 holiday cottages converted from the former farm buildings of Bog Mill Farm. Each cottage is completely self contained with their own individual gardens, entrances and parking spaces. Bog Mill is no longer a working farm. With the beach just a short stroll away, stunning scenery in every direction and some wonderfully traditional eating and drinking places right on the doorstep - Periwinkle is the perfect little bolt-hole for getting out and about and discovering Northumberland.
