The Scale House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Scale House is located in the heart of wine country. It is across the road from a beautiful Vineyard and within 3 miles of six more vineyards. The night sky is perfect for stargazing. If you are a bike rider, you are in the perfect area. It is located next to an elevator that was used for 50 years before farming changed in the valley. The scales were removed and the house has been remodeled making it feel new and comfortable for a night away.

Cowboy Hideaway

Our little place is surrounded with all the nature and wildlife one needs. The peace and quiet with endless starry nights are relaxing and rejuvenating for the soul. Bring your family and enjoy our newly renovated 3 bedroom 2 bath home. It offers plenty of space with a fenced back yard and firepit for those beautiful nights. It also boasts a 7 stall barn for your horses so no one is left home alone. With just a short drive you can be at endless trails, historic towns, vineyards and family farms.

Deer Haven Hideaway

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Cooler temps, low traffic (almost) zero! We have a pond that birds, javelinas and the deer love! Two pastures with shade shelters if you are traveling with horses. Historic town of Willcox food, wineries, museum, and a theater. Chihuahua National monument, Cochise Stronghold, Turkey Creek, Fort Bowie, Bisbee, Tombstone, Douglas, are within an hour drive. Much cooler temps here as the elevation is 4400'. Located on 5 acres in the San Pedro National Riparian Area, take in the sights of the Sonoran Desert or the restaurants and shops of Bisbee, Sierra Vista, & Tombstone. A quick 15 minute drive gets you right into SV. We are a 5 minute walk to Riparian Area Trailheads and a short drive from the Huachuca Mountains. Or sit on our patio and enjoy the deer, hummingbirds, & quail that stop by!

Bring your horses or pack goat and set them to roam in the paddock. Soak the stillness and take in the starry nights far from city lights.

You have a spectacular view of the Dragoon Mountains from your 32 ft patio or cozy downstairs fenced area and perfect view to watch the sunrise or sunset. We are only 4 miles (2 miles as the crow fly's) from the Historic town of Tombstone. There is a BBQ. Directv is on your 55" Smart TV. Pet friendly!

Our house is a well-equipped home decorated in south western style. It has been rented by visitors from many parts of the world since 2005, some of whom have returned many times. It is situated at the mouth of Cave Creek Canyon in the beautiful Chiricahua Mountains which are noted for their abundance of wildlife and walking trails. The pristine night skies is evidenced by the number of private observatories.

It is a very short walk to restaurants, bars, shops, entertainment, and all of the other unique attractions of historic Bisbee, Arizona. The Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum and Copper Queen Library are only one block away.
