Excellent stay. The accomodation was close to the city center so you can go by feet. The room was clean and as described in the website. Dean was a very very nice host, giving a lot of advices to find the accomodation, and also giving a lot of recommendations for food or for a drink on Edinburgh. Very flexible and very chill. Dean was a nice as his kitten was cute :) Thanks again.

Great location. Easy check in. Very clean. Only downside was the room was warm and window only opens so far for safety reasons.

the accommodation was clean and exactly what was described and walkable to Colgate 20 minutes. lots of useful shops and restaurants around. A bit pricey but a great location

Had a brief stay in Edinburgh. The place is definitely one of my highlights of the trip. The space is nice and tidy, with fabulous view of the Arthur’s seat. The hosts are kind and approchable, fast responding, and professional. Robin just offered every help we might need. The price is a bit high for me but definitely worth it!

Excelente departamento, muy tranquilo y cómodo. Utensilios justos, pero tal como se indica en descripción. Desayuno incluido básico, pero totalmente adecuado para el precio pagado (incluso hay café disponible en todo horario). Conforme con la estadía.

Student hall converted to hotel/hostel during the summer, it seems some reviewers didn’t know or understand this which explains the bad reviews. The place was spotless, had everything you need if it’s just a place to sleep, wash, store your belongs and prep lunch. Don’t expect a 5* hotel, you get what you pay for and this place is good value. Perfect for a trip to Edinburgh fringe!

Amazing Stay! I had a great experience staying at Jack and Dawn’s Airbnb. Dawn handled all communication and was very responsive and helpful, making the process smooth. The place was clean, exactly as described, and easy to check into. The neighborhood was nice, quiet, and had a very relaxed atmosphere—it truly felt like home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Great location, a lot of things to do nearby, and close to the main sites of the city

Had a wonderful stay! The apartment is in a fantastic location — close to everything you need, including supermarkets, fast food spots, and cozy pubs. It’s the perfect base for exploring Edinburgh if you’re looking for a more local, authentic experience. Would definitely recommend!

I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

Corky-cute place that is walking distance to all the sites and close to grocery stores. We appreciated so many extras like laundry detergent, cooking supplies, salt pepper, hand towels, etc. Comfortable beds with cozy duvets! Great stay! Just note it is up a few flights of stairs that can be tiring with a stroller.

Absolutely fantastic hosts! and perfect location in Edinburgh, literally a tram or bus ride from the centre and really lovely neighborhood. Can't fault Sue or her husband on their hosting, we were treated as part of the family.

We had a wonderful 5 days stay at Moira’s place.Felt just like home. Moira is an excellent host and she made our stay very comfortable. The apartment was very clean and tidy. The bedroom was cozy and comfortable and private bathroom had all the amenities. Moira had also given access to her lovely kitchen where everything was available for breakfast. Great location of the apartment,the city centre is just few minutes away and it’s also close to the seaside. Moira also recommended very good sightseeing places and restaurants. Highly recommended place to stay in Edinburgh.I would love to be back there!

This is a fantastic property in a lovely resort. We couldn’t fault it, everything was perfect. Beautifully clean and all furniture and fittings luxurious. Was with my son and elderly parents and they thought it was wonderful. The resort is wonderfully kept and so close to St Andrews and the other villages in the East Neuk of Fife. 100% recommend. Also wonderful fish and chips at Tailend fish and chip shop. Fabulous stay, will definitely be back.

The stay was great. Duc was very responsive and flexible. We arrived a bit earlier and he let us leave the baggage with him for safe keeping before the actual check-in. His wife made a cool list of recommendations. The place was clean and very nice. I would definitely recommend staying with them.

We booked Susannah's property to host a family get together with people travelling from as far away as New Zealand. The property turned out to be perfect for the 5 of us but would have been just as perfect for 8. This property is clearly someone's home, it has a completely different feeling to many of the antiseptic business properties that we have stayed in before and I felt this was entirely positive. The decor is great and the facilities even better with 3 large bathroom's offering great showers. The location was perfect for exploring Edinburgh as it was well served by the excellent bus system with the tram available for longer journeys. It would also be walkable to the centre of town but we chose to save our energy for exploring. We never failed to find parking nearby when required but chose to leave our cars in the free park & ride carpark that was accessible via a £2 bus. I cannot recommend this property too highly and would definitely return again if numbers required.

Kamil, was a fantastic host. As I was his first long stay rental he outlined his rules. Respect to privacy but also sociable and volunteered to take me with him when he did grocery shopping or going for take out meals. His place felt like a second home, and asked me before going into the room I rented if he had to access items stored there. The keyless door lock and outdoor camera made me feel secure. With the kitchen I had my own cupboard space as well as space in the fridge and freezer for my food, as well as instructed me in the use of the cooker and washing machine ( different from Canada).

The lodges are a collection of trailer homes. The place looked a bit more spacious in pictures but overall we were happy with our stay. The lodge was well furnished and cozy. We were allowed an early check in which was very kind. Communication through Airbnb was spotty but the lodge has a front desk and staff to help. We did not use the hot tub but amenities were great - shop to buy essentials and food, sauna, and gym.

Ishbel is really lovely, very welcoming and friendly, the place was lovely and completely spotless. The room was great, had everything you could possibly want, the bed was really comfy too, there was tea and coffee and a wee fridge with chilled water, she has really gone the extra mile. Close to the bus and train stations. It was perfect and there's the added bonus of her wee doggies I dare you to leave without a smile on your face xx
