Cozy Waterfront Cabin - Welcome to The Rookery

Come and enjoy our cozy waterfront 4 season cabin. It has all the amenities needed for a relaxing getaway. Full size kitchen (stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, coffee maker & kettle) & bathroom (shower only). 32 inch TV with a Firestick, there is no cable. There is WIFI. Sleeps 4. 1 queen bed on the main level & 2 single beds in the loft (ladder access only) Screened in porch with BBQ ( new in 2024) And a deck in front of the porch with more seating. Heated in the winter with propane.

No detail was overlooked during the renovation of this historic building. With two full bathrooms, a well stocked kitchen, laundry room, one bedroom with sitting area, loft and 2000 square feet of living space, we think the Chapel is an amazing option! A cozy little gem located on the main street of historical downtown Sault Ste. Marie. Within walking distance of the Soo Locks, restaurants, unique shops and bars. A 10 minute drive and you can enjoy the beach at Sherman Park, located on the upper St. Mary’s River. Feeling adventurous, 2 hours to the west is the beautiful Pictured Rocks. Even closer, you can hike the trails at Tahquamenon Falls or scavenge the beach of Whitefish Point, where you might find an agate or a yooperlite stone.

Enjoy wonderful views of the lake and mountains from the deck. Full access to private waterfront yard with a beachy area, fire pit and dock. Swimming, fishing and kayaking are a must. Bring life jackets for water play and worms for fishing. Many trails for ATVs out your back door.

Easy access to snowmobile/biking trails from cabin. There is a shared sauna on the property with two other cabins . The cabins are all secluded with there own lot.
