The Starlite

The Starlite at Ruakh is a private luxury geodesic dome tucked along the edge of the woods on our 87-acre farm in Tazewell County, Virginia. Designed for quiet getaways, slow mornings, clear night skies, and time by the fire, this 500-square-foot dome blends the comfort of a thoughtfully finished stay with the feeling of being close to the land. Inside, you will find a king bed, modern comfort, a private bathroom, heating and air, and the kind of details that make the stay feel intentional.

Boho Getaway for Two at Joe’s Ridge Retreat

Designed for couples, this cabin has everything you need to recharge after a day of exploring. The full length covered deck delivers an unimpeded view of Joe’s Ridge and valley view all the way to Grandview, WV. Additional features include: king sized bed, walk-in shower with wand, washer and dryer, full kitchen, Starlink wifi, Samsung Smart TV 55" (Netflix, Max, Disney+, Hulu, ESPN, Prime), electric fireplace and plenty of cozy areas and corners for you to take in and relax the days away.

Nestled high among the trees, our petite treehouse invites you for an adventure. On our expansive deck, you can grill and dine al fresco, amidst the trees. The nocturnal canvas comes alive with a stunning display of stars and luminescent fireflies in the summer. As dawn breaks, you may spot a bear or hear the gentle whisper of the creek where my grandmother used to frolic 90 years ago. Despite being in nature, you'll have access to a hot shower, a toilet, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker.

If you’re looking for peace & privacy, yet a short 5 minute drive to restaurants and shopping, look no further than HH. Our cabin is just off I-77. Centrally located, it’s a short drive to Winterplace Ski Resort, WV’s 1st Mountain Coaster & PuttPutt at Brush Creek Falls, HMT, Pipestem, New and Bluestone Rivers. EV charging station 1/2 mile, Camp Creek. A couple’s get away, traveling for bus, or family vacay, our cabin is perfect. We strive to make every guest as comfortable as possible!

Self check-in on a private half mile long road. Feed the fish with two ponds full of blue gill, coy, bass and catfish. Hike or mountain bike on miles of trails throughout the property! Then come drink hot chocolate next to the fireplace, or have a glass of wine while watching the sunset on the covered porch!
