We've just returned from a very relaxing stay at this gorgeous cottage. The whole place was beautifully furnished with very special touches, very comfortable beds, two modern bathrooms and the most amazing garden. Tucked away and quietly located in Walditch, the cottage is still very close to Bridport and West Bay and we found the location perfect. I'd 100% recommend this air BnB, it's obvious how loved and well maintained the property is by its hosts. Thank you.

A wonderful place to spend 3 nights on the edge of the New Forest. Fabulous accommodation. Private, quiet and superb barn which was really well appointed with great facilities including a separate spa room solely for our use. Chris was a lovely host, great communication before, during and after our stay.

We chose Jo's place as it was close to Charmouth (11 mins) and Lyme Regis (14 mins by car). Our 6 year old son wanted to go fossil hunting. We arrived at Jo's cottage and she was there to greet us. She is very friendly and welcoming as well as her lovely dog Ruby. Jo also provided us with a travel cot and a changing mat for our 3 month old baby boy too, which was helpful. Jo provided us with a wheel barrow to carry our belongings to the Duck House as it was a little walk round the cottage. It's cosy and had all we needed. Our son liked the children's room he slept in and enjoyed the toys/games provided. My partner and my son did go in the swimming pool, however it was cold for our baby to go into. Jo did provide some bread, home made marmalade (that was lovely), butter, jam and milk. There was no hot water when we woke but when we contacted Jo she was straight on it and sorted it before we went out for the day. We enjoyed our stay - Thank you Jo.

Our group (2 families with kids aged 6-9) had a lovely stay. A very comfortable home, great kitchen for preparing meals and easy to drive to lots of places to visit. Hilary was very helpful and informative when we asked about options for wet weather! Kids loved the house too.

Rowan Barn's open plan design worked very well as a welcoming space for three adults. It is set in beautiful countryside and in an excellent location for exploring this part of the Dorset coast. The cottage had everything we needed, including good access and easy parking. We have stayed in several different cottages in the area. This is the one we hope to return to. Thank you, Debra.

Judi could not have been more helpful or warm with a homemade lemon cake on our arrival and colorful chocolate eggs in an Easter basket on dining table. Bathrooms have state of the art fixtures, very clean with lovely views over the green fields. The Beehouse is quiet and had lots of activities in and outdoors with games and toys for young guests. Delightful spot with unparalleled views! We very much appreciated Judi’s flexibility for our check-in.

We've just spent two great nights at the Dairy House. It's a lovely place set in beautiful surroundings. Great if you've got a dog. The place was really clean and tidy, the beds are very comfortable and the hosts really helpful and welcoming. I would thoroughly recommend staying here if you're looking for somewhere in the area.

The Cabin was peaceful and clean. The compost toilet was the nicest compost toilet I've used - easy-to-use and well presented. The close proximity to the farm shop and cafe was excellent, especially the quality and price of the farm shop foods and beverages. Also, Lizzie was a friendly and helpful host who made the Cabin feel like home.

Fantastic location and Property. Everything you need for a super chilled comfortable stay. Lots to see and do around the area, and Cat is the ideal host. If your looking at this review, just book the Pig House, you won't regret it.

The Cabin is a perfect location for those looking for a comfortable, out of the way location. The facilities provided are excellent and the Cabin is exactly as described.

What a great place to stay, super comfortable and spacious, especially if there's one 2 of you. Has all the basics you need, feels very private even though it's on a working farm. Host was very friendly and made sure to check in to make sure everything was okay. Would recommend to anyone

We stayed a few days for our honeymoon. Our arrival was a bit chaotic as the host was there trying to fit a bbq but they left swiftly enough and we were free to enjoy our stay. The location was perfect, so great to be fully immersed in nature especially with a hot tub too. We really enjoyed being woken by the sunrise each day. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive to our questions and requests. I would say that the cabin could do with a few personal touches like blankets, washing powder, basic supplies in the fridge upon arrival considering the price range I thought it was unusual for these not to be included. Overall we had such an incredibly special stay and will be back soon. Thanks to the hosts ☺️

Tazmin couldn't have been more helpful. We had advanced delivery of OS maps arriving has were house hunting in a new 100x60 mile rectangle. Royal mail said they couldn't locate the proroprty but we found it easily. Tazmin messaged daily with post updates then lent us all her own personal maps and Devon and Somerset map books too. W'ed have been completely lostt getting to multiple appts without her help. A gem of a lady. Tazmins Potting Shed was stunning, restful, super comfy and stylish. we cooked most of our own meals in the modern kitchen. Love good ovens and induction hobs! Highly reccomend

The Annex was great. A lovely little stay and a very nice village. We had everything we needed and Dorothy ensured to keep in touch incase we needed anything. The annex was very cosy and just what was needed to have some away time relaxing and seeing new places.

Chesters mum Sarah was a brilliant host & made us feel welcome. Great communication with clear instructions beforehand. What can I say....if you want peaceful surroundings in a lovely cabin with plenty of birds, squirrels & deer then this is the place for you! we loved watching the woodpeckers, jay's & other woodland birds at the feeder. A compact rustic cabin with everything we needed. It was a treat to feed Henry the Sika deer & his tribe of fallow deer along with Ben & Jerry the little muntjacs. Plenty of places to visit in the area. In particular we enjoyed RSPB Arne, Chesil Beach & Portland Bill, and the walk from Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door (worth the steep climb) & back again. We never made it to the local pub as the weather was lovely so we opted to sit by the pond outside our cabin watching the wildlife. Bliss.

I stayed at Jayne’s Blue Shepherd’s hut for two days and two nights, and it was phenomenal. The location is situated in green and exquisite Dorset county, surrounded by idyllic farmland and the songs and aroma of nature. The hut is the ideal cosy grotto to hide away from the world, but with all the world's amenities, having the internet and TV was perfect for a movie to see us off in bed. The hut aesthetic was a blend of rustic and rural industrial, with warm smoothing blues, raw wood and soft orange lighting creating the most smoothing and cosiest of settings. The outside area of the hut was everything you could ask for. Spacious decking, fire pit/bbq and the star of the show, the hot tub! My girlfriend and I spent our evenings basking in the warmth of the hot tub while surrounded by fairy lights and the night sky! It was so peaceful and relaxing. Furthermore, Jayne, the host, is lovely, friendly, and accommodating! She is very responsive and helpful. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a beautiful stay in the new forest lodge. The surrounds of the property are beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. The lodge is large, with plenty of space and everything that you would need. Martin is a great host, great at communicating ahead of the stay. The hot tub is lovely, was clean and a perfect addition to the weekend.

Had a short weekend at the flat on this loverly farm. If you want some where to chill and have some peace then this is the place to be. Add the style of the flat inside and out and how helpfull Lucy and her crew are, you the have this perfect place. The correspondence and information on the arrival and departure is first class. There is a nice little pub no more than a five minute drive called The Antelope Inn, very friendly. Thanks again Lucy for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful few days stay! Such a peaceful place to be, so quiet and calm, perfect for a reset! The garden is truly dog friendly which was so perfect for our little escape artist! We were a short drive from lots of local villages and pubs and from the gorgeous coast. Highly recommend hive beach cafe, crab house, and the Saxon arms was good for a roast. We loved west bay beach for an early morning dip, modbury farm shop and Eweleaze dairy vending machine (a joy!) Thanks so much Andrea!

We had such a lovely stay at The Cider House. The location is beautiful and the barn itself is brilliantly laid out and super cosy. Our boys loved the mezzanine beds and were really sad to leave. We arrived late in the evening and check in could t have been simpler, we felt comfortable and at home straight away. Essentials had been left out so we had milk and tea/coffee to start the day. We’d happily stay again and wish we could have stayed longer; it’s a truly stunning part of the world.

We booked to stay as an impulsive escape from hustle and bustle, wanting to unwind and relax. The setting was beautiful, the ducks and chickens running around and being inquisitive made it so enjoyable. Everything we could have needed was there, and Alison provided local info and suggestions which inspired us to take a walk into the surrounding areas and explore. We will definitely be back, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Thank you!

We spent a weekend at Swallows Retreat and it was fantastic. Charlotte’s house is in a quiet, secluded location surrounded by countryside, which was perfect for a relaxing break. The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy and felt very homely. Charlotte and Jonni were fantastic hosts. Great communication right from the start, with lots of local recommendations. Really friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. We have already started looking at making another booking later in the year!

We were in Dorset for a large extended family get-together in a nearby village. Our own family group consisted of 6 adults and 3 children between 4 and 7 yrs old. The house is very light, bright and spacious and everyone could find space to escape the others when required! The kitchen was very well equipped. We had beautiful weather and were able to choose from several outdoor sitting areas - you can follow the sun around. There was plenty of room for parking. The children loved playing out in the extensive garden. The area generally is beautiful - very quiet at night. If you are looking for somewhere for a relaxing family holiday, I would recommend.

I’ve just returned from a stay here with my family, and we had a wonderful time. There were 12 of us including 3 kids aged 7yrs and under, and 2 dogs! So I was glad there was plenty of space. The house is beautiful and set in quiet surroundings. The games kept the kids entertained and they loved the Moors Valley country Park that was only 5 mins drive away. I would definitely recommend. The house is even nicer than in the photos.
