This was my second stay here. since I was here last Lisa & John have added a beautiful addition onto the home. The space is so welcoming. we love how peaceful the area is. we saw deer & bunnies every day! The decor throughout the home is lovely, you really don't want to ever leave the house. Once again it was impeccably clean and so we'll stocked. We can't wait to return. Thank you!

Love it when the listing and the reviews are exactly right. ;) This place is a gem! It's small but loaded with absolutely everything you need and more. It was just what my husband and I needed for a weekend getaway. The amenities (necessities PLUS all the extra touches) were much appreciated. We really enjoyed hiking at Calvert Cliffs and dinner/sunset The Pier afterwards made for a perfect day!

Scott and Melinda's place was perfect for a peaceful getaway for our family of 5. The water was so nice to wake up to and fall asleep hearing the water move by! The thought of all the basic needs and had everything easily accessible from fresh eggs from their chickens, a great variety of coffee pods and creamer, and all the other small needs that come up while staying in an airbnb. This was great since it is off the beaten path. If you are looking for some peaceful family time or a secluded retreat with friends, this is a perfect place!

Fantastic location and great house. We loved starting the day by drinking coffee on the deck and watching the sun rise over the water.

The location and surroundings were beautiful, peaceful and quiet! The guest house was clean, warm & welcoming. I would come back and stay with them again.

Beautiful home on Tangier Sound. Equipped with so many extras…kayaks, paddle boards, beach chairs, etc, etc and a nice crab steamer! Hosts thought of everything. Lots of little extras . Nature lovers who appreciate the Eastern Shore of Maryland and the Chesapeake Bay with its beautiful marshes, beaches and quiet solitude will love it here. There is a great little restaurant 1.3 miles away with great crab cakes and orange crushes. Pit and Pub at Goose Creek Marina. Our weather was perfect and the beach was delightful! Hope to visit again!

This beautiful Lusby home was everything we hoped for and more. The views of the Chesapeake Bay are absolutely stunning—sunrises and sunsets were unforgettable. The house is spotless, stylish, and super comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. We loved relaxing on the deck, watching the water and wildlife, and enjoying peaceful evenings by the fire pit. It’s the perfect escape—private, serene, and just a short drive from charming local spots. Can’t wait to return!

This house is perfect for large groups. It is very spacious, with plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the dock taking in the serene natural beauty of the Creek and observing the local birdlife, including Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, and Bald Eagles. The house is situated very near to the entrance of Lookout Point State Park which we greatly enjoyed exploring on bicycles. Seeing a large wedge of Tundra Swans fly overhead was a special moment. If you want to spend some time relaxing in a beautiful setting in a beautiful and very interesting area with a large group, this house will serve you well.

What an amazing home! Bob was a great host. All of the rooms were very clean and there’s everything you will need at hand. Super comfortable beds. The views of the river are incredible with so many places to relax from the living areas to the outdoor deck on the second floor. The screened in porch was so comfortable. Fishing from the dock was a joy and just a great place to hang out and enjoy the water with our family. My son caught his first fish off the dock! The kitchen is a cook’s dream. Again, theres everything you need to prepare meals. Loved the huge kitchen island! Don’t forget to just stand and enjoy the view of the dock and river from the kitchen window. The downstairs den and bar area was just perfect for relaxing and watching tv. The house is on a cul de sac with only a few homes…very peaceful. We loved this place and plan on coming back again for our next trip! Thank you Bob for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!
