This cabin is the perfect place to get away from the busy city life and technology. Right in between Houston and Dallas. Come enjoy a peaceful weekend in a beautiful two story cabin with 16 acres of property to explore. This western cabin has plenty of space to accommodate a large group offering several amenities such as an outdoor basketball court, fishing, and a fire pit for late nights under the stars or roasting s'mores with loved ones. We have farm animals and we run an animal rescue that can have up to 32 dogs. They stay in a fenced-in yard where the pool is located and love to swim with guests! We have added Starlink internet to the cabin as well as a smart TV to greatly enhance your entertainment options during your stay.

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.
