Steps away from Burt Lake, and centrally-located to major Northern Michigan cities (less than 30 min. to Gaylord, Cheboygan, Mackinaw City, Petoskey & Harbor Springs), this is an ideal getaway for all seasons! NOTE: This listing is for the Burt Lake House. There are two separate houses located on one property. Please look up the Mullett Lake House if you are interested in booking both homes.

Welcome to The River House. Nestled along the Sturgeon River close to the heart of Indian River. This custom designed house features an open studio floor plan, with a queen bed and fold out sofa available. There is a full gourmet kitchen with quartz countertops and a view of the river while cooking. Enjoy your time outside on the deck overlooking the river. In the summer months tubers and kayakers float down the river past the house regularly. Downtown Indian River is just a short distance.

Beautiful cabin located at Reed's on the River Resort on the beautiful Sturgeon River. Built in the 1940's. Remodeled in 2024. Private bedroom w/full bath, second bathroom, kitchen, & stone fireplace. Second queen size bed full size futon round out the living room space. The cabin The Sturgeon River is well known tubing, kayaking and fishing . We will be available for any needs. We are very pet friendly but a pet policy and a pet fee. We charge $25/night, per pet, with a maximum fee of $250

Main floor has full size, modern appliances & dishwasher in our eat in kitchen. Full size washer and dryer for your use. Inviting living room for family time. Full bathroom with whirlpool tub. The roomy master bedroom has a queen size bed, and closet space. Upstairs features two bedrooms and a full bath. Outdoor free parking has room for three vehicles or two vehicles and a trailer. A perfect location for all outdoor activities, our house is located just 0.2 miles from Indian River Marina with access to both Burt and Mullett Lakes. There is a snowmobiling/walking trail in the backyard. Go on a short walk to downtown Indian River for ice cream and shopping. It's a perfect Up North location!
