Very Quirky lovely cottage style house. we had a great stay with everything we needed provided. The stairs are steep inside the house but everything else is great. We would definitely stay again.

Sally and John went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as good as it can be. From the welcome rocky road, complimentary breakfast and fluffiest towels ever. They also went above and beyond to ensure our daughter had plenty to play with in their lovely garden. We couldn't recommend this stay enough.

The house is small with steep stairs, exactly as described. Perfect for two people! It was also extremely clean. Despite being close to a very busy main road, it was surprisingly quiet and parking on road outside the front door was a definite bonus. Rachel is very helpful, responding quickly to any queries and when I mentioned we are vegetarian, she immediately provided a veggie breakfast option. Indeed, all the food provided was high quality and much appreciated. Half an hour walk into the centre of Sheffield but tram stop 5 minutes away, as is a shopping centre with supermarket. It is therefore ideally situated. Would thoroughly recommend staying here and will hope to stay again next time we're in Sheffield.

Absolutely loved our stay at this incredible Airbnb after completing the Four Peak Challenge in the Peak District! The house was an absolute gem—perfectly located, beautifully furnished, and just what we needed after a gruelling hike. We were welcomed with a cosy log burner, which was an absolute treat, making the whole place feel warm and inviting. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we all slept like babies after our long day. To top it off, the hosts left Easter treats for us, which was such a thoughtful touch, and there was even a bottle of wine waiting to help us unwind and celebrate our achievement. It really felt like a home away from home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and recover. Highly recommend this spot—perfect for a group getaway or just some peace and quiet after an adventure! We’ll definitely be back!

Elly's house was ideal for us. It's in the corner of a quiet cul-de-sac and is a nice size for a family of four to share. The house is really well looked after and Elly was very generous with food and practical items that she'd provided to help enhance our stay. We used the house as a base to travel to Wheelgate Park and Chatsworth. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else.

Thanks so much for what was an excellent stay in Sheffield. The location is superb, just around the corner from Sharrow Vale, which is a gem of a place with Sheffield. Likewise very close to the nearby park which was good for us with our toddler. Communication prior to getting there was faultless, and she was there when we arrived to handover the key which is very helpful, as well as providing us with a highchair and baby bath. More than anything, was very thoughtful in helping us provide a little bit more information and context, given the fact we’re planning on moving to Sheffield eventually, was super duper helpful in this regard. For those people simply visiting a tourists or similar, the Airbnb has plenty of information about the area. In terms of the rental itself, whilst naturally a small spot, it has everything you could need, and for two individuals such as ourselves (plus or minus a little one) it is perfect. Had a lovely stay at Siân's place. This Airbnb was a real gem. The house was much more spacious than we anticipated – perfect for our group. Our host was also so kind and helpful, making our stay even better. The location was great for exploring Peak District. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely private annex - was just what we needed. WiFi was here and there but Rob was so quick to respond and helped us within 10 minutes of messaging. Comfy bed, everything you need in the kitchen and lovely little living area. A short walk from where we needed to be. Would definitely stay again

We loved our stay at Kate's apartment. Firstly, Kate is a fantastic host and communication was spot on prior to our visit. The apartment is well looked after, spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. Everything has been well thought out and you will absolutely 100% have everything you need for your stay. We loved that the apartment had a 'home from home' feel to it; our 3 year old and 19 month daughters loved exploring (it's a bit of a tardis with plenty of space!) and really appreciated the toys that were there. The local area is ideal for exploring all that the peak district has to offer. Highly recommend trips to Thornbridge Estate and hiring bikes along the Monsal trail. If you want to stay in and cook then it's no problem as the apartment has everything you need however you won't go far wrong if you decide to eat at Toll Bar Chippy (about a minutes stroll down the hill) or Stella's Kitchen located not far from Eyam. Overall, highly recommended. Would love to return.

Great place to stay - I was looking for a quiet place and this fit the bill. Things are clean, and cozy. Andrew is very responsive which I appreciated.

Would definitely recommend this place. excellent value for money and in a great location. A real treat that breakfast was provided, free parking and a beautiful outdoor space.

David and Justine are extremely kind and accommodating. The homemade breakfast items and fruit are a treat every morning! Special diets are taken into account and the hosts aim to make your stay special and comfortable. I was given directions for a lovely walk in the hills which I thoroughly enjoyed. I appreciated the electric blanket and space heater to take the chill off when needed. Shops for food and restaurants are a very short walk down the road.

Ian and Fiona were very accommodating and welcoming! All communication and provided information was excellent! 😊 The Old Stables is a beautiful house, and the room with the bathroom upstairs is very clean and comfortable. The place is in a perfect location for all kinds of activities: hiking, walking, cycling, mountain biking, etc. - a great place! Highly recommended, and we hope to return! 😊

5* Bed and Breakfast We're so glad to have found this place to spend 4 wonderful nights. We just wish we could have stayed for longer. Karen and Chris were warm and welcoming from the very beginning and took care in showing us around the property which is beautiful inside and out. The room was stunning and had everything you could ever need and the soft and plump furnishings didnt go amiss. Everything was perfect! After a long day of hiking we were able come back to an amazing power shower, a large cosy bed and relax for the night in the nice fluffy robes that were on offer. We were always welcomed with big smiles first thing in the morning and set up for the day ahead with a delicious breakfast. Karen and Chris were always so attentive and friendly which made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. We loved our morning chats with Karen, it felt like we had known her for years. We've found a little peace of paradise and we can't wait to visit again x

Maywalk House provided everything we needed and more for our walking break in the Peak District, including a comfy bed, luxurious bathroom and a hearty breakfast cooked by Felicity to kick start each day. It's only 10 minutes' walk from the Miners Arms in Eyam village, which serves good evening meals. Felicity is a great host, friendly and welcoming but at the same time unobtrusive. We'd thoroughly recommend Maywalk House Airbnb.

Mick is a great host, very friendly and welcoming. The place was clean, comfortable and well-prepared. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking seasonings and essentials which made cooking really easy. The BBQ hob was also a great bonus for outdoor meals. The room and bed were super cozy perfect for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended!
