Our cozy guest cottage has easy beachfront/kayak/canoe access (if you bring your own) and is located very close (within walking distance at low tide) to the public boat launch for larger boats. Great location to explore Deer Isle, Acadia (approx 1hr), Castine (45m), and the Bangor (1hr) area. Brave children and adults even swim from the beach but comfortable swimming ponds/lakes are 10m in several directions. The hot-tub is open year-round! Additional guests can be considered prior to booking.

Are you looking for the complete Maine experience? If so, this is the place for you. Walk within minutes to downtown Stonington where all the restaurants and shops are located, or just across the road to the Stonington Lobster Co-Op where you can buy your lobsters straight off the lobster boat. Also within short walking distance is famous “Ames Lily Pond”, the Isle Au Haut boat company, Island approach’s where you can rent kayaks, book boat tours and so much more. This is an above garage apartment with a private side entrance, up stairs and off a deck. Water views. Public beach/ocean access at Bridge's Point Boatyard/Dow's boatyard is less than a half mile away. This property is not heated, space heaters available. All linens supplied. Well behaved dogs are welcome with prior approval. Please note, Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor are a one hour drive away. And the bathroom is tiny!
